It’s 4:46am September 6.

Its a little more than 100 hours from the Second Anniversary of Start the World Trade Center Attack and the subsequent Strike on the Pentagon and the Crash in Pennsylvania. 100 hours seems to be a long time; however, it is barely enough to reflect and remember all those who perished on the ground and in the air. Each one of the victims has a story, a life, that if retold would take more than 100 hours to appreciate the richness of their stay on this earth before it was snatched away.

Since 911, there has been more sacrifice. More have taken from this earth – this time not in tragedy but in a quest for justice and the expansion of freedom. They were not helpless victims but Heroes of liberation for the Afghanis and Iraqis and protectors of our domestic security.

We would hope that you would take the time and reflect on the lives of those who died on 9-11 and those who have sacrificed their all since that day in these next 100 hours. Please contribute a post of reflection, a prayer, a memorial, a picture or even just a ping to your friends to let them know that 9-11 has not been ignored this year.

It's a thread about gun control but you may want to look at the parts about Christ's teachings on pacifism and how often "turn the other cheek" is taken out of context to further an agenda. Christ never taught that it isn't proper to protect ourselves against our enemies. True, vengeance shouldn't manifest itself as vigilantism. But what some perceive as vengeance many of us view as defense of our country. Big difference. WE were attacked! Christ's teachings did not do away with a government determining how a punishment fits the crime or how to defend itself against real threats to its security. Defending our country or praying that the perpetrators of terrorism are brought to justice is not wishing "evil on our enemies." I believe it's wishing safety for ourselves and trusting our government to take the steps necessary to preserve our way of life.

I was sitting on my couch at the condo I've moved out of sinsce then. I saw the first tower in flames and watched the 2nd plane hit the second tower. I can't even put my thoughts into words. Life is precious. I miss Barbara Olson.

Finally, I stand with President Bush. "The United States will hunt down and punish those responsible for these cowardly acts...We will show the world that we will pass this test. 9-11-2001

The MOST disgusting thing I read from liberals - is how they believe these attacks were instigated by the Bush Administration. I really try to control my comments to peoples' blogs, and writings/opinions -- but those ideas being spurned are SICK.

Thank you all for this tribute - I know my family will forever remember those that died/gave their lives during the attacks on America, on September 11, 2001~

The goal of left wingers out here on the West Coast is to try and ignore and forget about 9/11 while they slam our president and run down our troops.

I couldn't two couples and single woman at a church foyer dinner. They slammed the president and wanted our troops out because we were wasting precious money in Iraq.

I would not let them forget about 9/11. Finally my wife and the lady host decided that it was time to for all to go home. I told the whiners that on 9/11 I would pray for their souls for being on the wrong side. It is like they are afraid that we will kill the bad guys and win.

After a dinner Friday night that had two left wing couples and a single woman, it became evident the lock step rank and file lefties have a goal to forget about 9/11.

They just want to paint the picture of GW as a dangerous loser and want all of our troops home.

Just try to talk to a leftie about 9/11. It is amazing how they don't want to mention it and try to say that GW is wrong in Iraq, Afghanistan and future places.
