The NOW gang does not differentiate b/w the "Patrtiarchal" USA and the Arab world.
Both are equally repressive towards women.
That's why you hear the group RAWA (they were commplaining about the Taliban pre-9/11) bash their own liberation.

If he did all of this in Saudi Arabia, he would get off scot-free. He could just claim he was interrogating a member of a foreign alcohol-smuggling ring, and he'd be a national hero.

"The NOW Gang and similar groups should absolutely shut up about the state of women in this country: they should start campaigning in places where they can really make a difference."Yeah, like that's gonna happen. I never heard a peep of outrage from American feminazis when Saudi "reaffirmed" that is it perfectly legal for a man to beat his wife as long as he doesn't cause permanent disfigurement. Heard quite a bit from Muslim women though.

I have no problem with that, as there's no sign she'd be a competent mother and no sign of who the father was (or if the girl even knew -- sounds like she hops around with a pretty wild crowd, though this experience may have cured her of the taste for that lifestyle).

I do. She killed her child. Someone who was helpless and dependent on her.
I said nothing about that she had to keep the child.
I am sure that a nice couple could have been found that would have considered that baby an answer to their prayers. They would not have cared who the father was or that the mother ran with a wild crowd.
I find it interesting that it went from a "unborn child" to "terminated pregnancy" in a sentence.
Unborn Child = person
Terminated pregnancy= medical condition
No different then having a hangnail removed I guess. Like I said, no nice people in this story.

I agree with one slight modification.
Castrated
Force fed his nuts
Force fed swine nuts each day for a year
Then shot and left to die on top of an ant hill
Luckily I have no real opinions on this matter.......

Torture horror for 'sex slave' Aug 26 2003
A SAUDI Arabian student tortured a teenager and kept her as a sex slave for a month before pushing her out of the window of his plush riverside flat, a court heard.
Sammy Shadukhi, 21, left his young victim lying in agony on the shore of the Thames with a broken back and leg, it is claimed.
Neighbours living in the converted warehouse heard her screams and dialled 999. She was airlifted to hospital but is now wheelchair-bound.
Inner London Crown Court heard the teenager would have ended up a "mystery foreign corpse in the river" had the tide not been out.
Prosecutor Nicholas Atkinson QC told jurors how Mr Shadukhi kept the girl captive in his Rotherhithe flat.
He said his horrific torture included whipping her with a mobile phone charger, beating her with a mop handle and punching her in the face. He would also bind her with tape and force her head underwater in the bath, it is claimed.
On one occasion he stabbed her feet and made her watch the water turn red with her blood, the QC said.
The court heard Mr Shadukhi also held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.
He raped her "many, many times" and on the rare occasions he let her out, he made her wear dark glasses to hide her black eyes, the court heard.
But the campaign of abuse came to an end on February 24 last year, the court heard.
Mr Atkinson said: "On the foreshore at Rotherhithe some time before noon, this woman's cries for help were heard.
"She lay on the foreshore. Her back was broken, as was one of her legs."
He went on to tell jurors she was effectively imprisoned in a small flat in a strange country, unable to communicate with others, not allowed to contact her family while being physically and sexually abused.
Mr Shadukhi faces one sample charge of rape but Mr Atkinson said it was only the "tip of the iceberg".
The court also heard how in early February Mr Shadukhi had a locksmith fit a lock to an internal door to keep the teenager captive.
She was forbidden to contact her family and the phone had been disconnected, it is claimed.
Mr Atkinson said: "There came a moment when he encouraged her to come to the window to look at some birds on the river he wanted her to see.
"He lifted her by the legs she thought to get a better view. This was followed by him ejecting her out of the window."
Mr Shadukhi, of Rotherhithe Street, Rotherhithe, denies rape, false imprisonment, unlawful wounding, making threats to kill, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and causing grievous bodily harm with intent between January 20 and February 24 last year.
The trial continues.

Again while reading this post I have asked myself this question again...
"Of what good is any Arab and/or Muslim person????"
To me it seems that to me that Allah translated into English spells SATAN, and all that follow that Koran garbage should be exile to the deep sea... Although the article never mentions the religion of the PERP, remember that in Saudi Arabia, you die if follow any other relegion...
And this horrible crime was commited by a son of someone who claims to be a follower of the most peaceful and enlightned people on this earth...

The Saudis have been twisted by easy money and an evil religion. What they practice has as much in common with Islam as Jim Jones and his Kool Aid drinkers beliefs had in common with Christianity.
Evil, bored, stupid, corrupt and with way too much money, the nutty Saudis cover their inadequacies and fears by subsidizing terrorist. Without the oil under their sand, and the technological help of the West where would they be? They know the answer. And it's one of the reasons they hate us.

There are lots of nice Muslims. Look at the Iranian student. They're trying to bring a truer democracy to Iran. And that's just one small example. Don't paint them all with the same brush.
When stories like this are printed about nutty Saudis, it's hard to remember they're not typical of all people of that faith. Even among the Saudis, I'm sure there are nice people...(Well, almost sure)
