TODAY IS WRITE FOR W FRIDAY! Let's Tell Democrats What We Think of Them!
Friday FReep for Bush - Cheney! ^

Today is WRITE FOR W FRIDAY! This Friday and every Friday, Freepers will be getting together to write letters to the editor to take back America's editorial pages and counter the latest Democrat attacks against President Bush. Bush haters have also chosen today to send letters to the editor, which is why it's critical to have a HUGE turnout by FReepers. Let's tell the Democrat candidates they're full of it in letters to the editor across the country!
Writing letters to the editor to the papers in your area is easy through the President's re-election website.
What to write about? Anything you want, but these are some good points to remember about the economy if that's what you want to write about:
- It's no coincidence that the economy is beginning to pick up just as President Bush's tax cuts are reaching people's pocketbooks. Because of tax relief for working Americans, the economy is projected to grow faster in the second half of this year.
- As Investors' Business Daily notes, "In July, the most recent month for which we have data and the first month the latest round of tax cuts went into effect, real disposable personal income -- that is, what you earn after taxes and inflation -- rose 3.3%. That's the biggest jump this year."
- A New York Post editorial joins the chorus crediting tax relief with a growing economy. "Consumer spending -- which makes up about two-thirds of the economy -- increased 0.8 percent. The timing of this increase suggests President Bush's tax cut earlier this year is already bearing fruit."
Whatever is on your mind, go write your letter now. Writing letters is a great way to impact public opinion in your community.
Go! Go! Go!

I'm not feeling very charitable toward the President, Administration or GOP today after their lack of support for Estrada. Between that and going back to the UN 'begging' for help with Iraq ---- makes me sick.

Don't forget that Chuckie Schumerde, aka Senator Putz, probably has to routinely take penicillin for his gonococcal sore throat. He is such a political whore.

I spent a considerable period of time complaining to the staff of my senator for spinelessness re Estrada.
And the staff person exceeded my exasperation.
Which is exasperating, so we shared a good laugh.

Please try to focus your disappointment towards the democrats responsible for this. We have the majority but not by much. Even though we can be a bit disappointed in our senate/congress approach, Our President needs our support!
It sure as hell beats President Dean or etc or nightmare Prez H. Clinton.
Support Bush thread :)

Please try to focus your disappointment towards the democrats responsible for this.'RATs are the 'RATs.
After the full Clintonization of their party, and knowing how productive the last 40 years+ of leftwing judicial legislation has been for the Dims, our so called conservatives in the Senate should know the only possibility for success is by using every tool in the box.
No, you will never change a leftist's ideas or get them to play by the rules voluntarily, that is obvious.
The lazy bums in the Senate could have forced them long ago to a full 24/7 filibuster, but I guess it may have interfered with a tee time at the club or something.
Waiting for the 'RATs to change on their own isn't going work, our yo-yos in the Senate will have to do the job we elected them, and are paying them outrageously high salaries and benefits to do.
If they do not, and have no intention changing, they should tell us so we can quit wasting our time and money putting the bums in office.
I used to be an optomist, having such high hopes when Frist took over, but he's proven he's no better than Lott (excepting that he's not stupid) He needs to go back to surgery where he was a real benefit to society; quit wasting oxygen in DC.
This debacle has made me very cynical and in no way trusting of anything they would tell me.
For who deserves the blame, I respectfully disagree. It primary lies with the GOP Senators, and to some extent, George W. Bush for not using his office to pressure them.
Our President needs our support!
And we have given it, in spades. So what thanks do we get? A senate rolling over for the likes of Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy, socialized medicine, and 15 billion of our hard earned money being sent to the Swiss accounts of African dictators.

bush is goin throuh a very rough time now.
he needs all th support he can get.
you don't kick a man when he is down!
he has made some mistakes and now trying to RIGHT them. let us all help shut up people in the media attacking him like there is no tomorrow.
i love bill o'rielly, but he is being very harsh on bush now and that will send a really bad message to....
bottom line, if you do not want a dem in 04, better support bush NOW!!
i hav done my share of letter writings..
it is also advisable to write the whitehouse about your concerns, they actually do listen sometimes.
i just hate to give the far-left more immunitions against bush.
i am not some blind supporter of bush..i have my reservations on some of his policies but do you wanna see a dem in 04? i hope not!!
remember the no-name bubba!!!

I'm not feeling very charitable toward the President, Administration or GOP today after their lack of support for Estrada. I don't see what Bush could have done. The more Bush supported Estrada the more the Dems would have opposed him.
This however is an issue that can be effectively used to attack the Dems in 2004 and benefit the GOP if they play it right.
Between that and going back to the UN 'begging' for help with Iraq ---- makes me sick.
Nobody is 'beggin' the UN for help with Iraq.
They are merely looking for a way to give cover to countries that ALREADY want to help but need the approval of a UN resolution to do so.
