Yep, the lefties are so deranged they are becoming scary. If you want to see the Brownshirts and listen to Nazis, check out the next major Howard Dean rally.
Can anyone consider this man rational? Only when he stands next to Al Sharpton and Dennis Kuccinich on a debate podium.

Nazis murdered millions of unarmed people. They put them in ovens. They made soap out of them.Lots of Freepers have been comparing Mecha to the nazis the last few days.(including a FR Jew)
It's not just a DU tactic.

...musky fromage from the land of cheese, long speeches, and short-lived loyalties...I must be a Nazi at heart, cause right now I'm thinking that if I could breed Jonah Goldberg to Ann Coulter, I could create a Master Race.

This needs to be said often and publicly, and not because I am a Bushbot. I would find it just as ridiculous and inappropriate to compare Clinton with Hitler. To the left, anyone in authority who takes any sort of stand or espouses any moral principle is a Hitler or a Nazi...they probably called their elementary school teachers Nazis if they were forced to do their homework. The whole concept of Nazism has been watered down to be synonymous with "dork". Pity.

I think they mean that Mecha has a similar racial philosophy to the Nazis. And their concept of ``Aztlan'' is similar to the ideas behind the Nazi's lebensraum.

It's not merely a depressing subject, its enormity is so depressing, so compacted down with evil and barbarity and cruelty that it folds in upon itself like a black hole. The gravitational pull of its tragedy has permanently bent the trajectory of mankind.
Now that's writing.
Excellent article, thanks for the post.

It seems like they almost think Bush is being devious, by not acting like a Nazi, hiding his ``true'' intentions. In other words, no matter what Bush does, it proves he's a Nazi.

Yep, the lefties are so deranged they are becoming scary. The lefties I expect to be deranged. What stuns me is the amount of this that is coming from some on so-called right.
Saw a post here on FR today with a guy ranting about how "he would be put in jail for speaking against the Bush government." Excuse me but hogwash!
And I am getting sick of hearing it.
But comparing America to Nazi Germany in this way is like saying Jonah Goldberg is just like the "Son of Sam" serial killer because they both get lots of parking tickets. To leave out all the genocide and murder is to leave out a pretty important part of the story.
Worth repeating bump.

Liberals in the United States do a lot of projecting. When spoilers like Miss Hitlery accuse Bush of acting like a Nazi, we need to pay particular attention to Miss Hitlery's ruthless actions. Adolph used a lot of lies to acquire his power - Miss Hitlery does the same.

So-called right is correct. I tend to think these people are statists who just haven't realized it yet or Dean Trolls.
Remember, anyone could come into a public weblog and misrepresent themselves to a fair-the-well.

Show me the camps. Show me the millions of people being gassed. Show me the tattoos on people's arms. Show me elderly Muslim men being beaten in the streets, their stores smashed, and books burned. Show me huge piles of emaciated bodies stocked high like cords of wood.Damningly well put. And, additionally (to all the liberal hate mongers out there):
* ... show me the "rights" ordinary American citizens are "losing," via the Patriot Act.
* ... show me how "freedom is dissent" is being "ruthlessly squelched" in a country where anti-American, pro-terrorist sites such as DU, MoveOn, etcetera all operate daily, unimpeded; with none of the owners or users of same being carted off to the gulag.
If we conservatives end up losing in '04 -- and, after today's blase, blinkered "ho-hum, stay the course, no complaining out of you scurvy lot belowdecks" reaction amongst some to principled outrage over the Estrada travesty, it's an unwelcome prospect I find terrifyingly more likely than ever before -- it will be precisely because too many within this party are too blamed comfortable allowing the enemy to define the terms of the debate, and the rules of the game.
It's because we spend so much of our free time spluttering and squabbling and administering weird, abstract loyalty tests and oaths of fealty amongst ourselves, ultimately -- doing the heavy lifting of the 'Rats for them, ultimately -- that we continue to act (and legislate) like a minority party... even when we are (as now) in the majority.

Lots of Freepers have been comparing Mecha to the nazis the last few days.(including a FR Jew) Indeed, there are FReepers, still, who are comparing Bush to Hitler over the Patriot Act or over the Roadmap.
It's hate, pure and simple, and its proponents have no business on this website.

Very well put - all of your post. I get so damn tired of people in here saying that they won't vote for President Bush because of this or that one thing when the only alternative is to vote for a true enemy of America. Pragmatism is a necessary skill these days - at least until we can rid ourselves of the Left.

Jonah comes through again and nails the Bush=Hitler loonies. Nails these loonies is right. Sheesh! Hillary is Hitler. Bush is more like the oblivious Kaiser unwittingly setting up all the ducks in a row for an even nastier Reich to come.
