If it wasn't for the recall and Bustamante filing as a candidate, few would have heard about the racist group and its members. Now I wonder what Mechista Rep Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) has to say about the slogan.

Secondly, assuming Becerra IS correct in assuming McCarthy was a evil man, does that mean that black Americans are just being McCarthistic when they take offense at being called the N-Word as they were by Bustemante?

Does that mean the intolerant are being McCarthiistic when they go after the KKK for murder, and church and cross burning?

A leading backer of California recall race candidate Cruz Bustamante is defending the Latino supremacist group MEChA and its slogan, "For the race, everything; for those outside the race, nothing."

Rep. [Xavier] Becerra, D-Calif., complained Wednesday night that MEChA critics were engaging in McCarthyite tactics.

Strange that this guy crediting MEChA with getting him into college's first comparison to his persecution related to the South. Hmmmmmmm.
