I persuaded the wife we didn't want to see this one after some of Depp's earlier remarks.

That is very insensitive! Many of these folks don't look good in black. Why not hire some of those especially sensitive young men from Hollywood to design a list of a more sentivive color (mauve? cinimon? hollyhock? etc.) Then when the names of the traitorous, American-hating coc**uckers are placed on the new list they won't feel so bad.

The problem with most of these folks is that they have been pampered by brown nosers for so long that they begin to believe that they really aren't very lucky no-talent hacks. They act out of a sense of inadequacy. They know they are grossly overpaid for what they do and considering how average they are and they try to compensate by taking the roll of the underdog without really paying a tangible price. Darn, wouldn't it be easier, faster, and shorter to compile a list of "true American actors"?

Depp may be the latest offender, but he's such a lightweight on the intellectual scale that he hardly deserves to be first.

I don’t know. He’s been in a couple of good movies. “Dead Man” comes to mind – probably one of my favorites. “What’s eating Gilbert Grape” too.

I always wondered who picked his scripts for him. Like whether he went out of his way to pick obscure crap to do, or if he just took everything that came down the pike or what...

But you really can’t think of Johnny Depp without thinking of “21 Jump Street” – with a chuckle. What a completely un-believable (and unbelievably stupid) show.

Of course, you only need to be a marginal actor to look decent next to that DeLuise kid. I always laugh when I remember Depp playing his pretty-boy tough-guy role. Ha.

I mean it's time to bring back the Hollywood blacklist.

Bring it back? Every person carries a blacklist around with them at all times and not just for Hollywood. It's called a pocketbook/wallet. Don't like a product- don't buy it. Simple as that. Every time you choose one product over all the others, you have effectively boycotted all those other products. Easiest way to have a Hollywood blacklist is to simply not go and see the movie.
