Whaddya mean, not a big deal? It sure is! I missed the first day of school for one of the boys, but Mrs. HJ took plenty of pictures so we could share it when I came home.

It was almost as good as being there, and took away some of the melancholy of being away. Pictures are a great help, take lots!

Besides, it'll give Matthew something to show off when he's older. "Awww, Mom, not the Pre-School pictures again! Gee Whiz!"

The painters came. We're still waiting for the estimate from the first guy who we REALLY liked.

Brad's first day was AWESOME. That guy has 34 kids in his classroom!!! And the teacher was still smiling at the end of the day. Phew. LOL! It's gonna be fine.

The shorts actually WERE worn...she'd taken the other pair and laid them on the ironing board exactly where I had the others, last night. I don't know yet as to whether she wants me to start the others tonight yet. Please no please no please no....
