As a recently former resident of Madison, WI, I can say unequivically that the ultimate gay car is any Subaru. There is about a 98% chance that any Subaru you see has a little rainbow sticker on it somewhere. Behind the Subaru is anything that looks like a Geo Tracker.
I own two Volvo's, a mini-van and a Citroen. To avoid being confused as a sweater wearing tree hugger, I've slapped prominant Bush/Cheney stickers on my Volvo's. I don't drive the Citroen anymore. I'm pretty sure I'd be shot at. I may just paint it yellow, put a white flag on the antenna and enter it in a demo derby.

I can say unequivically that the ultimate gay car is any Subaru. I can't disagree with you there. I saw a few Volvos and Suburus(wagons especially) that had a rainbow and a Granholm sticker on them.

Re the Geo Tracker: Is it me, or do most new cars these days look like Matchbox Cars?

Up here in Maine the four wheel drive Subarus all are followed by rainbows. Many people I know go out of their way to NOT buy a Subaru.

You have my congrats for being brave enough to put a Bush-Cheney bumper-sticker on your car in Madison. I've been stared at in State Street used-book stores by other customers for asking about books by conservatives. But I'll be in Madison today trolling down State Street. With school back in session, it might be interesting.
