As a recently former resident of Madison, WI, I can say unequivically that the ultimate gay car is any Subaru.

Not a joke: I read a few years ago that lesbians do indeed own a disproportionate number of Subarus. And it surely is no coincidence that in recent years, Subaru chose as a celebrity endorser in its TV commercials . . . Martina Navratilova.

In a city with a lesbian police chief, fire chief and the only lesbian member of the U.S. Congress, Subaru dealerships run a hot business. And frankly, I don't know which is stranger looking...the cars or the "women" who drive them.

I think Madison & Eugene are sister cities (so to speak), and a lot of wimyn with "that look" drive around in all manner of Subarus (the ones with government jobs have shiny new Outbacks like Martina Whatsername). Around here, those who advertise don't use a rainbow sticker, but one of those "Mean people suck" stickers, or maybe just a pink triangle.
