Has anyone else been put on ping lists without their knowledge? (VANITY)

Sorry for the vanity, but lately I've been getting put on ping lists that I never asked to be on. I was wondering if this has happened to any other FReepers. Anybody else having this problem?

Yeah..what's this delete thing?
Sorry for the confusion.
I meant to say "ignore unintereting threads to which I have been pinged."
(I can only "delete" them in my mind.)
Still, I would rather wade through SEVERAL DOZEN well-intentioned pings to UN-interesting threads, if that is the price that I must pay for not missing the one VERY INTERESTING thread that I would not have discovered, had some kind soul not pinged me to it.

Someone should start a National Do-Not-Ping List. Anyone want to call Micheal Powell?

I created some ire by pinging Freepers to a new regular thing I was going to be doing which is in essence a Freeper interview once a week. Pretty much everyone I pinged would eventually get interviewed or I at least thought would be intrested. I have had many Freepers intrested but a few thought I was carrying the Black Plague.

Ok, you are the second "unasked" one I have removed from my one ping list tonight .

Well thank you I guess, but I would have asked if I'd needed off. Yours only come every few days, not several times a day.

Hey, I'm on every list imaginable, but it's easily solvable. Two ways:

1) Scroll button (my way).

2) Request off via Freepmail to the Pinger.

Now when does the food fight start ?? :O)

It's happened to me, on occasion. The pingers are always very polite and remove me from their list if I had not asked to be placed there.

So now that your team cut old man Neil O'Donnell, who is backing up McNair?

Billy Volek. Worth watching. It's my opinion that they re-signed Neil during spring just to have him hang around and school Billy and then compare him to the 37 year old at cuting time. Neil is said to be not taking this very well. Any painful cuts for your guys?

Say, is that anything like the ol' "library indexing of the index" conundrum?

Nope all of those were made in the offseason. The injury to Right Tackle Ross Verba could hurt our line big time.

Atkins? Now this thread is going to go on forever. Heck while we are at it, what about evolution and the war on (some) drugs?
