Follow-up, Prayer request

I'm overwhelmed!

So many people praying for us ... I have no words, but please understand I am so very grateful.

My wife's name is Debbie and I think she's signed up as 'wife of knarf'.

We got the path report and it is Sarcoma.

There's a spot/tumor in her upper left lung and she's scheduled to have a 'scope' thing done on Sept. 8. They'll do it as an outpatient and biopsy a sample.

I think they're trying to determine which came first ... the lung or the belly.

The tumor they removed was attached in part to the upper intestine and part to the colon. The Surgeon said he snipped those areas, removed the tumor and reconnected the ends.

He said the amount he took out was not going to affect her digestion.

Tomorrow (Sunday) we're expecting Debbie to be discharged.

The Dr.s are impressed with her determination to walk, get around, eat etc.

They took her off of the morphine drip yesterday and she's eating solids now (Today (Saturday) was three perrogies and some brocolli.)

Again ... thank you all so much for your love, care and prayers.

We know HE careth for us and remembers that we are but clay.

Thank you to those that offered such appropos scripture references.

We'll keep you informed.

Debbie doesn't know it, but I'm going to sit her down in front of this thread and walk away.

Debbie, we are praying for you, and with you. You have the hands of thousands upon you, but the Hands of God are the Hands which will lead you through this valley. I know you are afraid. God knows you are afraid. Let us hold you and make it better. Healing does occur - we have seen it. Miracles do happen - we are witnesses to them. God is real. I call on that God, now, for He told me to call on Him. I call on God to let you see His Hand.

Seriously, prayer continues for her recovery, and for your familly. Our God delights in healing.

Additionally ... the MD that serves as our Primary Care Physician is a brother in the Lord and attends our church. We've known Brian for about 6 or 7 years and all the other Dr.s .. surgeon, pulmonary, oncologist and whatever else etcetera's may arise are his recommendation.
