MSNBC had an item on NEW rumblings about HRC running in 2004.. It was in conjunction with more on Wes Clark also getting serious about a run..Mentioned something about a 'high level mtg' that the OTHER Dem candidates were informed of.... Ickes has formed a 'soft money group' which could benefit HRC, and, again, some high level mtg about the possibility of her running. ..Nachman and Bill Press will be discussing this SOON on msnbc...tune in NOW.

I can honestly say, I have never seen a pro Hillary comment by any regular poster on FR in the entire 5 1/2 years I've been here. Not even One.

Odds of her resigning her Senate seat to run? Zilch and None. I agree she won't resign .. that isn't how she works.

Well, she can't wait until after the NH primary like RFK. Dean will win Iowa and New Hampshire and then go on to quickly pick up AZ, possibly DE (Lieberman and Kerry will be hobbled by then), NM, ND, and WA. He might pick up others in that span, too.
She has to stop his momentum, but the Deanie Babies will be pissed.

It stunk at the time but post 9/11, it will never fly with the soccer moms. Don't be so sure about that. The soccer moms put her and her husband into the White House TWICE. Soccer moms are a dim-witted emotional bunch who respond well to polititians who are skilled at using children as props in campaign ads and pawns in any area of life. They have no loyalty and short memories. 9/11 will not help the republicans guaranty their vote.

The press have protected the CLinton's from the "regular" people for years. See my tagline I've been using for quite some time now regarding the Clinton's and terrorism.
New Yorker's and indeed most people will never forget or forgive her husband's shameless terrorist pardons, all to buy the Puerto Rican vote for Hitlery.
Good points about Oklahoma and all the rest of it, too, PhiKapMom. Freepers alone could bring this woman to her knees. She is unelectable in my view, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't get nasty and be a very ugly race.

As W says "Bring it on". She is as evil as any Islamofascist. This would be the greatest ideological struggle in American political history. Lets see where our country stands.

I'd rather the people be forced to vote for or against the Clinton's rather than letting them get Hillary govt by proxy.
I agree...but these people aren't going away. They have been declared untouchable and are with us politically for life.

Don't be too sure about that. It's amazing the number of people who think she's terrific here
Get a grip.
She is not "Commander in Chief" material.
Klintoon/Gore got White women to vote for them.
They are not going to vote for HRC to protect their kids.
SHRILLARY! doesn't stand a chance.
Imagine her reviewing troops, or landing on an aircraft carrier?.
Theres a war on for godsakes.
She'll do worse than Dukakis.

The day Hillary joins the race, a nuclear bomb would go off in the primary field leaving most everyone exiting the race.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the electorate-- or their desires to keep the benefits spigot turned on.
To: votelife
Hillary and Bill effectively control the party. If another Dem were elected (except maybe Dean, but he probably can't get elected) they'd owe the Clinton's BIGTIME It will be interesting how Dean handles this all if Hellary gets in the race.
I'm not sure if he's in their grip control yet and if he's not .. the Dem Primaries could get interesting

"YESsssss, old pro, resign her senate seat and we New Yorkers will breathe a sigh of relief. Then, maybe, she gets her pants whipped for President and if that happens, then where will she go?????????????"
She'll run for mayor of NYC, or maybe Boston, since she hasn't lived there yet, and Bostonians are liberal to a fault.
To: mr.pink
well, if the Clinton's are humiliated nationally, then maybe the Dems will turn on the Clinton's. Sounds crazy now, but that sequence of events might greatly help pull the nation to the right.

IIRC Didn't Clinton have to fire him, or he had to resign over some flack when he was NATO Commander?

Well, Im worried...I remember in 91 when the rapist hit the scene saying that no way this loser can win...then in 95...I said absolutely the rapist can't win...everyone is underestimating the depths this woman and her little toadies will go to to win...yes, Im scared.
