I agree with that. The problem is, Bustamante's family wasn't in Russia. Although he loves a socialist system and wouldn't mind communism much at all, it's hard to make the connection you are based on Lenin/Stalin's actions. And you've accurately described why. Look, these systems have failed everywhere they've been tried.
Even the model states for Socialism, where Socialists point and says now see that, that's what we should be, are failing. They are not able to provide what they promised and are on the verge of collapsing.

The Spaniards wiped out the Aztecs because they were brutal savages who practices human sacrifice and ritual cannibalism. (Of course the Spaniards at the same time had the Inquisition going on, to their discredit.)
"The occurrence of human sacrifice appears to have been widespread and its intentions various, ranging from communion with a god and participation in his divine life to expiation and the promotion of the Earth fertility. It seems to have been adopted by agricultural rather than by hunting or pastoral peoples. Of all the worldly manifestations of the life-force,the human undoubtedly impressed men as the most valuable and thus the most potent and efficacious as an oblation. Thus, in Mexico the belief that the sun needed human nourishment led to sacrifice in which as many as 20,000victims perished annually in the Aztec and Nahua calendrical maize ritual in the 14th century AD."
ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA 1975 EDITION. VOL. 14 P-131
Topic: YOUNG AZTEC WARRIORS
"Each boy had to retain his telltale tuft of hair until he had participated in the capture of a prisoner. His first experience on the battlefield was limited to carrying a warrior's shield and observing the action, but his second required that he participate, with as many as five of his fellow novices, in taking alive a foe. The captive was then taken to those men in charge of sacrifice, who killed him. The body was divided up among the boys for their ritualistic consumption: The right thigh and torso went to the youngster who had behaved most heroically; the left thigh went to the second bravest youth; the right upper arm to the third - and so on until no part was left."

I don't reject communism because it is a failed economic system but because, like Nazism, it rejects God. Great evils come from that fact.

The Spaniards wiped out the Aztecs because they were brutal savages You could say that but how many times in history has the civilization with the higher tech. conquered a more primitive culture ? Countless. This just human nature and the Spainards were no different than the Koreans immigrants (Japanese) who conquered the Ainu.
One time I can think of that a less tech. society conquered a more advanced one was the fall of the Roman Empire. What bothers me is that it looks like the same think is starting to go on here in the USA with less technical societies (third world/Mexico) conquering a more advanced society ( USA )

It just depends on whether the racist, hate-group you support is a diverse one or not I guess.

I can agree with that. It's part of what drives me to defend the presence of religious materials on public property as long as the religion they represent is not codified to be a state religion and penalties set for not buying into that.

We had a thread going the other day about this. Here is the URL
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/970020/posts I wrote to all of the anchors on FOX as well as Joe Scarborough on MSNBC (he's the only chance we have there, I think)
It may be too late already, but if we don't take a stand here, like at the Alamo, we are done in California!!!!

If you do a Google or Yahoo search for MECHA on the web you will find almost EVERY COLLEGE has a chapter and a website. Visit those at your own peril though.

cannibal human sacrificing Are you saying that this is the only reason the Spainsh conquered the Aztecs ?
I do know that the Spainards were quite upset with this practice and I do believe that the Aztecs had it coming and I sure don't want this practice coming to the USA via 3rd world immigration.

Racism! It's a great deal more than that.Their belief and goal is to take back the southwest United States and they are willing to use violence. This looks like treason to me.
To: Missouri
Of course not the ONLY reasons, but the Catholic Spaniards (who ironically were torturing people during the inquisition) were repuled by human sacrifice, and sought to eliminate the practice.
