He is answering the questions. I don't know why he's ducking debates.

Huge supporter of Prop 13. Met with Howard Jarvis in the 70s. He's always been fiscally conservative. He just said that he will ABSOLUTELY pledge to not raise taxes.
I pray every day that this man will win and lead California out of this abyss.

(Thank you, McClintock supporters, for all your nasty and insulting emails.)
To: cajungirl
says he is prochoiceBut then Sean asked directly about partial birth abortion and Arnold said he was against it and used the phrase. No wiggle room: "I am against partial-birth abortion."
To: South40
He also said he supports the "assault" weapon ban and closing the bogus gun-show loophole.

Why not "Schwarzenegger" instead?
Unless you are willing to start saying "Tom" and "Cruz" and "Peter"??
What is it with this groupie First Name thing? Please don't try to paint me with any broad brush. If you look up my posts, you'll see that I support McClintock. I was trying to get this thread up quickly.

Stevie, some here are what you call RINOs and by choice. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face. Or let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

Interesting mixed grab-bag of positions there. He's certainly not a doctrinaire liberal or conservative.

Barring a 'state emergency', no new taxes, absolutely. Not bad with some wiggle room.

He just said that he will ABSOLUTELY pledge to not raise taxes.
That is not exactly what he said.
He said, barring a state emergency, he will not raise taxes.
What exactly constitutes a state emergency is open to interpretation.

I think it is easier to write Arnold than Schwarzenegger. And if you spell it wrong, there will be some wise a** post pointing it out. So, Arnold it is.

I think he is like the majority of people,,most are not doctrinaire. They are in the middle. Conservative on some issues, liberal on others, but mostly lmiddle of the road.

I hate his stance on gun control, but he sounds like he would do less damage than a Cruz for the next few years.
Not perfect. Barely good. Not objectionable by comparision .

What exactly constitutes a state emergency is open to interpretation. When he first said "only in an amergency", he defined it as "an earthquake" ... "a terrorist attack".
