You seem to believe that Tom won't have to buy air time for his commercials.

I don't which of the voices in your head told you that, but you should tell it to shut up. I never indicated any such thing, except in a sarcastic statement that clearly went over your head. You inferred that he wouldn't be able to run any TV ads because he didn't have any money. Since he's running TV ads, then I guess either you were wrong on your first point or they're giving him free air time. You figure out which is the case.

Characterize your misreading my words any way you'd like. But the fact remains, I just happen to think Mcclintock stands little chance of beating Arnold or Bustamante. I guess that makes me a RINO or a RINO supporter...huh?

No, just another coward who can't bear the thought of anyone putting their favorite candidate in the position of having to actually make his case to the people.

Unless you can cite a specific comment to the contrary by Ann Coulter, I'll bet she DOESN'T say that McClintock should drop out at this date. It hardly takes being a conservative or a prophet to state that Arnold at present has the best chance. I've never disagreed with that. My only point is that McClintock deserves a chance to be heard and considered BEFORE surrendering to the compromise candidate, which you and so many others have been eager to do since the recall was set.

He isn't running any ads in the major markets--or, at least, he's not running them when normal people can see them.

Since he's running TV ads, then I guess either you were wrong on your first point or they're giving him free air time. You figure out which is the case.

He may be running ads in places like Mono County (population, 10,000).

He may be running them in major markets--at 3:00 AM, when no one's watching.

He's not running ads otherwise, because he doesn't have the money to pay for major markets in prime time.

This state is unbelievably expensive to run a statewide campaign in.

In order to be sarcastic, you need to be intelligent.

Satisfy the second requirement before trying to satisfy the first.

Coward? Look, schoolboy, I'm more of a man than you'll ever be. But you go right ahead and call me names. It's sooooooo high school and soooooooo you.

Unless you can cite a specific comment to the contrary by Ann Coulter, I'll bet she DOESN'T say that McClintock should drop out at this date.

I've never said she did. Nor have I ever said Mcclintock should "drop out at this date" or any other. That wasn't the point I was making. I merely said Ann agreed with me that Arnold has the best chance to win...because she did. And I have to ask... Do you really have such a hard time comprehending what you read or is this some ploy. You know...are you acting stupid? It is an act...isn't it?

It hardly takes being a conservative or a prophet to state that Arnold at present has the best chance.

And, have I ever claimed to be either one? No.

I've never disagreed with that. My only point is that McClintock deserves a chance to be heard and considered BEFORE surrendering to the compromise candidate, which you and so many others have been eager to do since the recall was set.

And he's having his chane. But what makes you think I've surrendered...because I have a better understanding of California politics than you? It is a fact that California is largly liberal. It is a fact that Californians, because of their liberal leanings vote for liberal candidates. It is a fact that, because of his far-right idology Mcclintock stands little chance in this state. Parse that all you'd like but you won't change it.

I hope Mcclintock stays in. As it is, he's already forced AS (the most likely candidate to win) to move further to the right. And, if he stays in and gives him a run for his money he'll likely move him even furher right. That doesn't change the fact that Californians, in my opinion, will never elect a far-right candidate.

You can accept that, call me more names, or just ignore it. I really don't care.

BTW...nice job ducking the fact that I proved you wrong about the polls.

Bustamante as governor would not be good news for Bush.

Oh heavens, that isn't good. Wouldn't you hate it if Bush were thrown out of office and replaced by a Democrat who wasted billions on new medicare programs, did nothing to protect our borders from invasion by illegal aliens, did nothing to stop jobs from going overseas, and sided with Palestinian terrorists over our Israeli allies? Okay, I am convinced. Where can I get my Ahnold pom poms?

I wasn't ducking anything. I just have only so much time to spar with you, and that was one of the less significant points. Fine, one of the the latest polls says 11%. I think it was the ABC that had him higher. We can bounce around which one's methodology is more accurate, but the overall point was that he's made a substantial increase in a short time, and now that he's beginning to run ads, it should go even higher.

Actually, it was the ABC poll I cited.

You pay attention very well...do you william?

I made my argument. He's not running ads he needs to run. It matters not if he IS running ads if the people do not see them--and they are not seeing them.

I had a nice chat with a BUNCH of conservative business people who all said the same thing. "When is McClintock going to get the H out of there so Bustamante doesn't win".

They also said what I did, that he only gets the votes of these supposed principled Conservatives that will probably AGAIN get the Democrat elected.

So the same points I am making must be repeated by others throughout all of California.

The same "conservative" business people that never gave a dime to any of McClintock's campaigns? The same "conservative" business people who supported all those fat pay hikes for public employee union?
