Monsters? No ... paedos are loving and sincere

A VILE best-seller which praises paedophiles should be banned, protesters demanded last night.
The £6.50 book, Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers, is a top-seller on books website Amazon.
Author David L Riegel supports sex with under-age boys.
And one extract reads: Men who sexually pursue young boys are not monsters but are instead sincere, concerned, loving human beings who simply have a sexual orientation that is neither understood nor accepted by most others.
Riegel also claims research has failed to prove such activities are harmful.
The book is available on amazon.com used by millions of Britons.
It has sold so many copies that it ranks among the top one per cent of the sites 300,000-plus titles.
Amazon chiefs refuse to drop it, saying: People have the right to choose their own material.
Reviews on the site include some from perverts who claim to have been enlightened.
One wrote: It attempts to shed light on the positive aspects of a healthy boy/male relationship.
Another said: It may help parents to understand there may be benefits to such relationships.
But one critic wrote: It is intended to convince those who dislike paedosexuality that it is a healthy lifestyle choice.
Norman Brennan, of the Victims of Crime Trust, called the American book an insult to molested children and urged people to boycott it.
Child protection groups say predators can easily get hold of the book.
Tim Wildmon, of the American Family Association, said: For Amazon to sell a book justifying such actions is irresponsible and repulsive.

Gee what a coincidence. But homosexuals aren't child molesters! They're loving monogamous couples who want to marry and adopt and raise healthy happy kids, every last one of them!
Sick freaks.

Joseph Druce doesn't seem to be very healthy for his experiences, and it wasn't too healthy for the priest he beat and strangled to death.

What they should have done was put electronic devices to trace the books. Not all would be owned by "paedophiles" but most would have been.
A lost chance to track them all down and eliminate them.

Tim Wildmon, of the American Family Association, said: For Amazon to sell a book justifying such actions is irresponsible and repulsive. While I've got a problem with thisbook, I've got a problem with arbitrarily deciding what books someone can and cannot sell. Amazon presents themselves as an omnibus retailer; because of the role they have assumed for themselves, they attempt to have everything, period. They don't choose to "support" or "not support" anyone. They are no different from the phone company or the mail.
As opposed to going after Amazon (killing the messenger), I would rather see a concerted push to go after the publishers of this kind of trash.
Just damn.
If you want on the new list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

That purposely vile "South Park" show had the authorities chasing down a National Association of Marlon Brando Look-Alikes convention when they were looking for NAMBLA (North American Man-Boy Love Association). I think the point was that the authorities don't have a clue as to how far this sickness runs in society.
G. Gordon maintains to this day that these people are entirely beyond reformation. Tagging & tracking only makes them slicker.

I agree with your sentiments on this one.
One minor quibble, though: Amazon is choosing to profit by the sale of this material. If they were merely a storehouse or such, making no profit, that'd be one thing.
I can see some reason in the arguments of those who are upset with Amazon, for this reason only.
