This is a great article.

IMHO, Rice is nowhere near the peak of her career. She seems to trust the Lord in all things. He has the power to put her precisely where he wants her. If he wants her as the next President, He will make the way and even run her easily over the politically dead body of Hillary From Hell!

Her judges, like Bush's (who's fairly weak on abortion personally), wouldn't be though and that's all that matters.

LOL. What a fogged over crystal ball you must be peering into.

Pubbies have such a sterling record on SC appointees!

You got a better candidate that can beat Hillary in 2008?

That's something we need to do something about. It ain't going to happen without drastic changes in conservative leadership. I don't mean everyone needs to go nuts. But places like FreeRepublic need to push placers to the front.

1) I just gave you the one person who can beat Hillary in 2008.

2) It's been my experience that much of FR despises the GOP and much of what it stands for, so I don't think this is the place to start the GOP Presidential nomination process.

Pretty amazing coming from someone who doesn't even support waging the war it takes to prevent another one..

It appears that you have been taking some notes Tex! (I peeked at your profile.)

Comments such as the one that you posted here, remind me of the Bush recession, Bush caused the blackout, Bush is stupid, Bush stole the election, etc, etc, and so on.

I wonder just what some of these people are looking at. The Bush Administration has outfoxed the Democrats and the Libs at every turn.

The beauty of it is, they ain't finished. I am loving it, yet at times I can understand the frustrations.

It is all about patience!

Heads up, head of the FR Conde Rice fan club.

What a revealing article.

Condi has been through a lot, lately. But this article should tell everyone once again why the woman is a tower of strength. That's why Bush kept her, above all things, because he values her advice and her inner toughness and resolution.

Condi Rice is the second coming of Margaret Thatcher. She is simply the best there is out there for us. Reading an article like this should put the fear of God into Hillary Clinton.

Rice, like her boss GW, has discovered what I must admit that I have yet to discover; that true power is achieved by laying one's troubles at the feet of the Cross. Clinton, on the other hand, will never understand that kind of power, so fascinated is she with finding a "theology of meaning" in her life.

She is truly humble, and in that humility, has great power and, in the fullness of time, great wisdom. We should be a lucky nation to have her as President.

Oh, and the 9-11 Blak Helikopterz Krowd? Screw them. They're just the flip side of Justin Raimondo.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

1. I'm not saying that Condi would not be an excellent candidate, she would be. You may be right that she may be the only one that could beat Hillary right now. To me that is something we need to do something about, how can we find that acceptable?

2. As I observe FR, I must agree I see a lot of folks not looking favorably upon RINO's. Some may not even like GOP's, but almost all seem to be right of center. I think FR has both an opportunity and in some ways a duty to band together to insure that conservatively oriented candidates are surfaced, developed, and promoted - whatever party affiliation they may have. Do we want to just continue to stand out here and bitch about it, or do we want to drive things in the right direction?

The liberals demonstrate much more passion to get what they want than I have observed from us conservatives. If we want to win, we have to do something about it.

**"She's very close to the Lord," says Rice's aunt, Genoa Ray McPhatter. "She knows that he guides and directs her. She learned this early as a child, to have that faith, and to believe that the Lord can do all things."**

Loving this line.

Condi bump!
