That's something we need to do something about. It ain't going to happen without drastic changes in conservative leadership. I don't mean everyone needs to go nuts. But places like FreeRepublic need to push placers to the front. 1) I just gave you the one person who can beat Hillary in 2008.
2) It's been my experience that much of FR despises the GOP and much of what it stands for, so I don't think this is the place to start the GOP Presidential nomination process.

1. I'm not saying that Condi would not be an excellent candidate, she would be. You may be right that she may be the only one that could beat Hillary right now. To me that is something we need to do something about, how can we find that acceptable?
2. As I observe FR, I must agree I see a lot of folks not looking favorably upon RINO's. Some may not even like GOP's, but almost all seem to be right of center. I think FR has both an opportunity and in some ways a duty to band together to insure that conservatively oriented candidates are surfaced, developed, and promoted - whatever party affiliation they may have. Do we want to just continue to stand out here and bitch about it, or do we want to drive things in the right direction?
The liberals demonstrate much more passion to get what they want than I have observed from us conservatives. If we want to win, we have to do something about it.
