Sick, sick sick. The state in its infinite wisdom will starve a human being to death at the behest of her sob husband.
I don't believe in the law any more. It's all bs.

The judge that made the ruling should be the one to personally pull her feedings and start starving her.

More on her situation is
here. Apparently her husband has been living with another woman, who he will marry after Terri's death, and he will inherit what remains of Terri's medical fund, and he has sole and exclusive control over her medical care. Her husband has been trying to kill her for some time and it looks like he will succeed. Disgusting!

God help a country where this is countenanced. I am sure God countenanced keeping people alive indefinitely in a nightmarish comatic state through the use of medical technology.
As a matter of fact, hardly anyone needs to die anymore. All we have to do is hook the dying up to a bunch of tubes and wires and they can practically live forever, in a total vegetative state.
Yes, I am sure that is what God countenanced.

I grieve for a nation where deciding whether or not to starve a disabled woman to death is seen as a difficult choice. I am disgusted by one where the agreed-upon answer is 'yes.'

Her family can still defy the judge and "kidnap" her. If they can get her to a state where her sicko husband has less influence, then maybe they can save her life.

I am going to get in trouble for this, but I disagree with you guys on this. For one thing the husband is her next of kin. Secondly, what is wrong with humanely letting someone go in her state?
I watched my brother take his wife off of life support after 2 years of grueling cancer treatment. Yes, we could have kept on going and trying to keep her alive, but if you would have seen what condition she was in, there was no other choice. Within 30 seconds of pulling her off of the ventilator, she passed on. She is now in heaven, no more suffering.
On the other side of the coin, her family would not have allowed my brother to pursue any medical treatment for her at all, if they had the choice to make. They were of a religious sect that believes you will be cured by God if you have asked for forgiveness for all of your sins. If you are not being cured, you must be holding on to something.

It seems alot of people are afraid to look on the links to see exactly what is going on here.
I think anyone who saw the videos would know this woman is not in a coma.
That and the lack of rehabilative care she has been denied by her husband
although he has the money for this I think would change alot of minds.

What was the movie where that black guy holds a hospital hostage until they treat his son? I wouldn't mind seeing something like this happen here.

Also, I hate to ask this, but I notice this is taking place in Clearwater, FL. Does anyone know if any of the principles in this story are involved with Scientology?
