I blame Garofalo and her ilk for giving 'psychological support' to the enemy and thus prolonging peaceful solutions in the rebuilding of Iraq. As long as voices such as hers are given 'media credibility' and pumped around the world by the networks, especially CNN; coalition forces will remain targets for further terrorist attacks in hopes of breaking down popular opinion behind Bush in our war on terror.
Osama bin Laden bloodied Americans in Somalia and other parts of the world and what did Bill Clinton do but turn tail and run to the nearest golf course. There were no serious repercussions for committing terrorist acts against our country and torturing and murdering their own people. Thus, the belief that ALL Americans are spineless, bin Laden pulled off the 9/11 attack.
Saddam Hussein during the Clinton years evicted the UN arms inspectors, cozied up to France, Germany and Russia in the Oil for Palaces Program and all Bill Clinton could do was was huff and puff on his Cuban cigar and pull his pants down. Now terrorists actually believe all Americans are 'spineless jellyfish' like Bill Clinton and that they will eventually break our will to fight. They need only to hear the voices of those such as Garofalo piercing the CNN airwaves with supportive applause from audiences such as those at GWU and believe they will in the end topple all support behind Bush.
It ain't happening..Garofalo!

A conspiracy of the 43rd Reich.....What a meathead!!! THis woman is collossally uninformed! If this were the 43rd Reich, she, Robbins and his 'life partner' Sarandon would have all breathed in the Sulfur Hexachloride about 9 months ago.

So, according to CNN, Garafalo is now a political pundit? CNN, you are seeding your own demise...good riddance.

"Carlson, ridiculing her: "It's like Apollo 13. There was no moon landing. That's tomorrow's show!""
CNN not exactly getting the brightest of the bulbs to counter there. It's pretty common knowledge that Apollo 13 never got to the moon.

Think about this comment for a moment. It's simply amazing, and shocking!
"It is in fact a conspiracy of the 43rd Reich." What this life form has said is that this is the 43rd Reich. She expresses without having the capacity to comprehend it, that she thinks every Presidency has been just like the "Third Reich".
To it's credit, CNN is willing to put people on the air who express their views openly, and shamelessly.
Not to it's credit, are the abysmal and tragic views themselves.
This person and CNN see no difference between our 43 presidents and their polices, than the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler and his policies.
Well CNN, I'm sure you'll skate on this, not that we have a leftist media. Everyone knows that's a falicy.

"but how out of it the left is."
You can go into all the details about France, Russia, Food for Oil, etc., but the characature leftists (seemingly almost all of them) are completely resistant to learning anything new, especially if it impugns an enemy of America since the enemy is presumably correct for them. Try explaining that the "terrorists" are in Iraq precisely to prevent Iraq from pumping oil so to benefit Saudi and Iran and you'll see some vacant stares (I've seen them) then a return to "Cheney".

There is simply no way to try and counter these kinds of arguments, especially in that settting. The only response is to quietly get up, take off your microphone, and walk off the stage.
Why any conservative consented to going on Bill Maher's failed talk show still boggles my mind.
It's a stacked deck on these stupid shows with ultra libs stuffed into the audience and ready to whoop at the most absurd suggestions as long as they attack "right wingers."
There is no context for these rantings anymore. They are not grounded in any way to objective reality that can be discussed and debated. The more fanciful, the better.
These people are astonishingly anti-intellectual and stunning liars.
And CNN puts them on the air.

The day will come when this poor creature will have to strip down naked in order to get noticed. When she has done this once, nobody will pay her any attention and finally the men in the white coats will carry her away.

I think this stategy is going to backfire for 'em though. This is way too early before elections. People have an entire autumn and winter to reflect on how crazy what Garofolo is saying is. She is the poster child of the left- all rant no ideas- no connection to reality.

I pray that she stays on Crossfire, and otherwise gets her views (and her way of expressing them) out, for a long time. Every time she opens her mouth, Bush gets a re-election vote from an undecided person turned off by her.

In a diatribe delivered back in June, Garofalo charged that "the dumb and the mean love patriotism." This is what I don't get. The left routinely derides the concept of patriotism. Then they complain when they're supposedly accused of being "unpatriotic". Wouldn't that be a compliment?

I have to say somewhat sheepishly... I haven't missed an episode of Crossfire since Garafolo has been co-hosting.
With sort of the same sordid fascination with which I watch America's Funniest Home Videos, knowing some guy is going to get a swift baseball bat in the 'nads at his kids little league game, it's been fun to watch the self-flagelation that Janeane is bringing upon herself.
Credit where credit is due... she really is a good actress, apparently. I've often seen her smile, appear charming, and even mildly intelligent.
However, with every words she speaks on Crossfire, her real self shines through, revealing an utterly humorless schrew who's never heard an anti-Republican conspiracy theory she didn't immediately embrace and repeat as gospel.

How much you wanna bet that this ignorant ball of rather ugly fluff will be one of the first guests on the Ellen DeGeneres show? It is clear that she is in mourning over her stillborn TV show. LOL!
