[history]
GOV. GRAY DAVIS deserves to be recalled. His performance has earned him record-low poll numbers because voters believe he is too arrogant, too nasty -- and that he would sell them out to any special interest that could help his career. Rather than shape up to fend off the recall, Davis has been acting as if his main goal is to prove to skeptical voters that they've been too kind to him.

I truly don't understand it: Davis needs the support of a portion of the 27 percent of Democrats who say they want to recall him -- yet Tuesday he dismissed them as right-wing nuts. Davis needs more than half of voters to choose to retain him. Yet, in his desperation, The Grayinator publicized his willingness to cross the majority of voters. It's really simple - Davis is a lousy politician.

It's even simpler than that...Davis is a "principled" Leftist.

GOV. GRAY DAVIS deserves to be recalled. The one really eating crow in this article is Saunders. Ostensibly a conservative voice at the SF Chronicle, she has recently been making a total jackass of herself on this issue, first supporting Davis in the general election, then coming out full-force against the recall.
Saunders was using some of the same language as Davis just weeks ago. Credibility of her current attacks = ZERO.

But jsut the fact taht the SFC published this shows how little support there is for Davis.

It's even simpler than that...Davis is a "principled" Leftist. Indeed, the leftists are characterized easily and are aptly predictable. One easy observation of these traits is the leftists utter inability to accept blaim which is cousin to the mistake of refusing to look at the past mistakes and glean insight(a glaring weakness)...
Having barely exhaled after uttering the other R-word, Davis refused to admit to any particular fault...
And the leftist are devoid of character especially when it comes to their agenda-get an dretain political power at all costs( another glaring weakness)...
For some time now, state voters have suspected Davis would sell them out to save his own sorry skin. Now they know it.
The leftists are notorious for blaiming their opponents for their own crimes (readily predictable-another weakness)...
Then there is the governor's claim that the recall is "part of an ongoing national effort to steal elections Republicans cannot win."
So obvious.

Last year before the election, didn't Saunders admit on KGO that she would vote for Herr Davis for some stupid reason? Or based on her so called honor code she would not vote for Simon?
Saunders is like all of the token so called conservative Whore$ who write article for left wing fish wraps. She is about as conservative as Joey LIEberman.

Something like that...I know she has been thoroughly ridiculed and temporarily banned from the Lee Rodgers/Melanie Morgan morning show on KSFO since her pro-Davis foolishness.

DS reminds me of the so called conservative Whore$, who write for the NY Slimes or Compost or appear as the conservative punching bag on ABCNNBCBS'S Shreiking Head shows.
I don't listen to Lee and Mel any more as I have too many things to do each morning. I knew that they were really hacked at her right before the election.

For some time now, state voters have suspected Davis would sell them out to save his own sorry skin. Now they know it. It has been apparent for quite awhile!!!!

Yeah, she spent the whole general whining about how Bill Jones didn't get the nomination.

Thanks for helping my old memory. You are right, DS was a big whining fan of Bill Jones and didn't vote in the Nov 2002 election.
One of my former republican friends is in her camp. He still moans and groans about Bill Jones. He has driven away most of his conservative friends.
This same guy never felt that Steve Young was worth a damn as a QB. He was such a Joe Montana fan, he hated Steve and refused to watch the niners when Steve was their QB.

Don't forget, Bill Jones was instrumental in getting Pete Wilson's 1991 tax hike through the legislature.
I've never forgiven him for that.

Thanks for bring that up re Petey's tax hike.
What did Jones do during the Goron/GW election, which shows that he was not much of a republican?
