A senior Hamas official declared a ceasefire dead on Thursday shortly after an Israeli missile strike killed Ismail Abu Shanab, a leader of the militant Islamic group, in Gaza City.

"The assassination of Abu Shanab ... means that the Zionist enemy has assassinated the truce and the Hamas movement holds the Zionist enemy fully responsible for the consequences of its crime," Ismail al-Haniyah told reporters in Gaza.

Palestinian militant faction chiefs declared a temporary ceasefire on June 29 under international pressure to advance a new U.S.-backed plan for peace with Israel.

Oh, Palestinians are free to blow up as many Israeli children as they wish. In no way should such actions be seen as damaging to the peace process or in any way breaking the truce. However, if Israel were to retaliate for a one of those bombings ... well, such an act of barbarity could only be answered by Palestinians righteously, and indignantly declaring the truce to be dead. I just can't believe that there are people in the world who can watch the Middle East for more than 48 hours and still conclude that Palestinians have any interest in coexistence with the Jews.

Methinks Bagdad Bob is now doing PR for the Palistineans. "Whatever it is, it's the Isrealies fault.....they MADE us bomb a bus...they made us do it."

Watching the video of them pulling bodies out of the car, I wondered about the number of able-bodied men just hanging around. I know, some of them can't get to their jobs, but not all of them. Makes ya think if Arafat had spent some of the donated money on developing an economy instead of funding the never-ending war that those guys might have more to do than plot revenge!

It's a culture of hate. Teach it in the schools, preach it in the streets. It never ends!
