Brings back a funny memory...while on vacation, Mrs. HJ found out her sister has a new gas stove...and we use electric!
She had so much fun trying to light it...the spark-starter worked for everyone but her. She's used to the burners cooling down slowly, and adjusts the heat accordingly. Can't do that with gas! And she kept turning the burners down for low so far that they went out...and wouldn't start again!
Well, I now know what we aren't getting the next time we move!

I can no longer use gas. (Well, I could, but because I have a sensitivity to the additive they put in natural gas and propane so that it has an odor, IF I use a gas stove, I can only remain upright for a short cooking session. It makes me get REALLY REALLY dizzy! ... I won't go into the barfing that follows, because that would upset Gramma. Suffice it to say that that tends to put a damper on the cooking experience.) ;)
