From your volunteer fire fighting days?

My department didn't have a ladder truck, but I learned to repel off of a basket just like that. "Trust your ropes and just step off." "Use your hand behind your back as a brake." It was ok after I got off the platform. It was that first step.....a leap of faith!

I heard a UN creep say on the radio that the US wasn't providing enough security.

I tell you, for Americans, it's damn if you do and damn if you don't. What I heard was that the UN DID NOT WANT any American security forces!!! ARGH!!!!
