"We're not threatening, we're promising," said Democratic Sen. Royce West of Dallas. "We can't sit idly by."

I'm pretty sure that Albuquerque Marriott has a hot tub...

I do believe Nevada is the hiding place for married folks whenever the big 'D' word pops up. RATS on the move...

Take a page from Bill and Hill and loot their offices.

Oh and pry off the D on all keyboards.

Texas' Democratic state senators are threatening criminal and civil action against the governor and other Republicans if their parking spaces, cellular phones and mail service are not restored today.

Where will they file? In New Mexico? Bwahahahah!

This is just too simple!! "parking spaces, cellular phones and mail service" Ya can't use parking spaces in Texas when your lame a$$es are in New mexico, the taxpayers of Texas should not have to pay for your mail service or cell phones that are for your WORK use, did I mention that your ELECTED POSITION/JOB & WORK is in TEXAS?! Typical ratz, obstruct, deny, whine. The folks of Texas should "recall" these morons.

It appears to me that the Dems are running away from the job they were hired to do. I don't see that they have a legal leg to stand on. The governor that wants to stay as far away from this as possible, should start naming replacements.

In that case, hire a fleet of stretch limos, give the saps a couple rolls of silver dollars for gambling money, and shuffle 'em off to Reno.

Exactly what I thought!

Now I want to look at the Texas Legislature's rulebooks and see if there's something else they can get these bastards on without a quorum. I bet they are allowed to set their own rules for seating legislators--maybe they can pass a motion that requires all members of the legislature to be spayed or neutered to take their seat, that is, if they don't object within a specific amount of time.

Hired and elected are two different things. After this little fiasco, these cowards may need to be stripped of any affiliation to Texas...

Since the democrats seats are vacant in Austin, Texas, Gov. Perry should declare that their seats are legally vacant. Then Gov. Perry should declare that there will be an election to fill these seats in 20 days.

As for the AWOL democrats, keep on fineing them.

The military used to call it 'dereliction of duty.' These perps should be charged with this, in the least - after serving some jail time.
