If it's true that a woman has to kiss many frogs before she finds her prince, then Kimberly Devlin's lips must be turning green. Recent first dates -- they usually end there -- have asked her to pay the check, have lied about owning a car, or have fibbed about their line of work. The last man who asked her out, though nice enough, was a walking billboard for his tattoo parlor and wore more earrings than the 22-year-old Devlin could count.

Well, she is cute. Now, can she carry a conversation that doesn't involve the mall or saying "like, you know" in every sentence?

Karen Jones, a professional relationship coach

Ya got any idea what entity this is? A professional relationship coach?

professional relationship coach. Is this in contradistinction to an amateur relationship coach (e.g. a mother-in-law)?

professional relationship coach. Or does this mean we've professionalized relationships to the point that lay relationships are sub-standard?

I think that a pageboy is a type of haircut that is longer in front than back. You know, like Shemp Howard.

Or how 'bout that Boston accent? Or worse, the Revere accent. I remember in my younger days getting on a public bus in Boston & sitting next to a pretty young lady. In an effort to strike up a convo, I asked her where she was from.

Being a guest from the West, I didn't understand her response. "Wahvee-ah" she said. Not knowing what she said, nor what she might say if I continued the convo, it ended there. It took me a while to finally figger what she said.

A professional relationship coach is most likely a paid matchmaker for the hipsters. You pay them to tell you why men aren't interested in you (often appearance) or why women aren't interested in you (often money). They tell you how to fix or mitigate. You know, another monthly bill ...

The good thing about growing up in Revere is that you don't set your standards so high, you just go through life hoping to make enough to move to Saugus.

She wants to be like Grandma, she has them(on her hand or wrist, I saw them on TV last night) also.

One of my daughter's friends was a contestant on this dating show filmed in the NYC area...a guy, or a girl, looking for a mate.. has a panel, consisting of two best friends, and a professioanl relationship coach..interview 25 suitable prospective mates...they choose three...and then EACH of the three, in turn, moves into the person's house with them for a week....I never knew so many single people in NYC with 2 bedroom apts.....LOL

Yup, damaged goods. Off to the trailer park with that one. Funny how the father isn't mentioned. I imagine that whatever the court takes from him in support is all she cares to have of him.

My opinion is that someone should not rely on two best friends and a professional relationship coach to choose a spouse. That is not a decision that would attract me to a potential mate.
