If it's true that a woman has to kiss many frogs before she finds her prince, then Kimberly Devlin's lips must be turning green. Recent first dates -- they usually end there -- have asked her to pay the check, have lied about owning a car, or have fibbed about their line of work. The last man who asked her out, though nice enough, was a walking billboard for his tattoo parlor and wore more earrings than the 22-year-old Devlin could count.

No, there is another word for it.
Before G-d, have you ever sinned like she did ?
Some do. All businesses have segments that collect trash. Ours do not.
Some bars have been gathering places for some of the best and brightest of the conservative movement and their sessions have produced great strides in the advancement of conservative idea and policies. Including The Laffer Curve. Written on a napkin over drinks.
George Washington was a brewer. Was he trash, immoral, and a plague on society?
Taverns were also a favorite meeting place for the founders and their supporters for discussion of the coming revolution.
Damn those evil bars!
Winning husband must fit the bills

The Southbridge family that's holding a public competition to find a suitable suitor for a daughter, has a history of financial and relationship problems.
``I'm not taking any more interviews,'' Donna Wood said last night before hanging up on a reporter. ``I'm reading all the horrible stuff in the paper and I'm not taking anymore, so I'm sorry.''
Wood and her family had caught the imagination of the public recently when she advertised for a man to marry her daughter, Kimberly Devlin, 22, and then interviewed candidates on her front lawn, setting off a media frenzy.
The attention also caught the eye of Hollywood and captured a free trip to California for the family to appear on Sharon Osbourne's new show next month when Devlin's beau will be chosen on air from two finalists.
But the family stopped giving interviews after the Worcester Telegram & Gazette reported yesterday that the family is receiving welfare payments.
According to sources familiar with the family, Kimberly, who works as a part-time nanny and is the single mother of 4-year-old Kara, is collecting $518 a month in Transitional Aid for Families with Dependent Children and $211 a month in food stamps.
Wood, 44, is collecting $428 a month in TAFDC for her 20-month-old granddaughter who was left in Wood's care by Devlin's older sister.
Beth Lavine of Oxford, Devlin's best friend, said the family's financial straits have nothing to do with Wood's matchmaking.
``The whole point of this is to find someone (Kimberly) loves,'' said Lavine. ``It has nothing to do with raising her daughter. It has nothing to do with bills.''
Sources said the family was also investigated for child neglect in 1998 when they were living in Dudley and Donna Wood was married to Mark Bonneville, 36.
After Bonneville was arrested for alleged domestic abuse on Wood, officials investigated allegations that the couple was doing drugs with Wood's two daughters and the daughters were not going to school, sources said.
``The allegations were unsubstantiated,'' said one source. ``The truancy issue was resolved when the children went back to school.''
``The older daughter moved out after the investigation and left her kid with (Wood) to take care of,'' said the source.
Devlin's biological father, Paul Devlin, is deceased, and Wood and Devlin are collecting Social Security benefits as a result of his death, sources said.
Of the 10 finalists who meet the judge's criteria and will go to the next round this weekend, at least one is not fazed by the family's background.
``They seem like a normal family to me. Nobody's perfect,'' said Bill Beck, 24, of Clinton. ``In my mind, generally what is in the past is in the past. I go from when I meet the person to the present. Nothing's changed in my mind and it doesn't appear it's going to change.''
Ok, you have certified that you are completely and totally without sin in this field, never touching a boy or girl, nor agreeing to be touched before your marriage. Therefore you get to cast the stones. Enjoy the blood.
Alchohol can be medicinal or simply another addictive drug whereby those who traffic in it make their living off the misery of individuals in particular and society at large. They may dabble in the sale of flesh on the side, or simply wink at the dancers.
How does a bar differ morally from an Amsterdam cafe or house of prostitution ?
There is a huge difference between your neighborhood Bar & Grill and stip bars.
Alchohol can be medicinal or simply another addictive drug whereby those who traffic in it make their living off the misery of individuals in particular and society at large.
Or it can be a beverage of enjoyment to be drank with dinner, with conversation with friends, or while watching a sporting event, amongst many other numerous activities that in no way are causing misery to individuals or society.
How does a bar differ morally from an Amsterdam cafe or house of prostitution ?
You keep asking that, yet have not been able to show how they are similar in any way, shape or form.
What is causing your major hate for alcohol, and those who own establishments where it is sold?
Whats the difference between the strip bar/Amsterdamn cafe/house of prostitution and the family owned restaurant down the street where you can purchase a bottle of wine or a pint of beer?
Hence why the family has resorted to this "stunt." It may not be an appropriate avenue to take but it seems like its the best the woman thinks she can do to find a husband for herself and a father for her child.
"Besides, the 'blended' families end in divorce more than regular ones, and then the kids have to go through more crap."
Facts and sources for your statement please. Not trying to be overtly argumentative but am curious to see some documentation.
"everyone is so pro abandon your kids so you can have sex with strangers"
Come again? The article everyone else appears to have read was about a woman looking for a husband. Not easy sex.
What would cause my disgust for marijuana, cocaine, etc. and those who own establishments where it is sold?
Whats the difference between the strip bar/Amsterdamn cafe/house of prostitution and the family owned restaurant down the street where you can purchase a bottle of wine or a pint of beer?
The food might be better.
Aren't the strip bar/Amsterdamn cafe/house of prostitution family owned ?
What percentage of the business is drugs (and alchohol is a drug like marijuana, cocaine, etc., albeit regulated) ?
In this thread, the father of the bride was a bar manager not a restauranteur.
