Hmmmmmmmm. I ponder this. You seem to have Conservative policies with a Liberal outlook on life.
Ever heard of Dan's Bake Sale?

Look, if this was a head's up race between McClintock and Bustamonte in this kind of race ( where only motivated voters will show up), McClintock would *win*.
So maybe Arnold and Bill Simon should both withdraw and endorse McClintock.
"Too bad you want to see the only chance go down in flames. This is what is wrong with our side in California."
Is the 'only chance' a RINO? Wasnt that tried with Matt Fong? With Huffington? With that Campbell fellow? ... and where are they now?

It is ashame how many want to have a Democrat instead of Arnold. Why they love to eat their own is unanswerable to me. <<
The ONLY people who specifically WANT to put a Democrat in the Governor's mansion is Arinold supporters. It's two-for-one, blue plate special. Elect Arnold and she WILL be in there by default. GURANTEED. Here's the LIFELONG liberal Democrat that YOU are pushing for:
"The responciblity for...the death of your daughter is squarely at the feet of the Reagan Administration. [Aren't] they responsible for that?"
-- To AIDS activist Elizabeth Glaser during 1992 GOP convention.
You Arinold Kool-aid drinkres can keep pretending vote for an conservative like Simon and McClinlock will MAGICALLY put a (D) in the mansion win, but those darn facts will keep showing that YOU'RE the ones beating down the door to ENSURE a D gets in. Schwarzekennedy RINO-RAT is certainly a "sickness", and voting conservative is the cure!
BTW, were you the same guy who INSISTED that voting for Keyes would "elect McCain"? Cuz I voted for Keyes, he did quite well in my state, and I havne't heard from "President McCain" lately.

Look into how things are gained through baby steps and not by ONLY a fire-breathing conservative. How silly of me. Why didn't I see it earlier? Let's see, more government intrusion? Check. Less capitalism, more government control over business? Check. More government programs, gleefully pushed for by a 'conservative' administration? Check. You know, you're right. It's called incrementalism and the only difference is that Republicans don't take away as quickly as Democrats.

It's already a horror BB. The facts you are not dealing with are that we are outnumbered by Democrat voters even though we have the largest number of Republicans in the nation.
Our two 100% guaranteed losers Simon and McClintock can only sabotage Arnold who is pro-business, pro-187 and pro prop 13 despite articles that suggest otherwise.

So maybe Arnold and Bill Simon should both withdraw and endorse McClintock. It would be an interesting strategy if Arnold has set him self up as Bustamonte's target, let him whale on him for a while, spend tons of money only to withdraw about two-three weeks before the election.

I realize it's probably a lost cause and you will get Arnold out there. What I'm worried about is 4,6,even 8 years from now. The RNC will see that he won and start putting Republicans like that around the nation. We've already got one transplanted Republican here in NC for our Senator that's not a conservative (foisted upon us by the RNC). I'm just worried what happens to the majority of conservatives nationwide when the RNC sees that this is a winning strategy out there

BB it is actually more probable that we will get Bustamante the wat Republicans are eating Arnold.
I would have nothing against a McClintock some time in the future. I think he is good. The problem is he has NO cross-over appeal.
I think since we are in a highly Democrat territory here in CA, we have to take our victories where we can.
Arnold is good for being pro-business, pro-187 and is beholden to nobody.
The most important part is he is electable and very pro-business.
I really think McClintock and Simon could drag Arnold down with their own drowning boats.
Our state needs so much change it isn't funny, it is sad.

Being a Democrat is a sickness, but rather than seeking a cure, the Democrats, like the homosexuals, prefer to lobby to have their sickness defined as just a different kind of healthy.

Congrats on first lady Maria Shiver (D). Kathleen Kennedy Townsend sends thanks for restoring the Kennedy Democrats to power. Hope you enjoy lots of taxpayer funded abortions and higher taxes "for the children" under a "Republican" governor. BTW, we're taking Reagan back since California Republicans would rather salute the Land of Riordan. There's no way in hell Dutch would hang around if he knew what currently passes for a "Republican" there. Oh, but you can HAVE George Ryan, he has an "R" to his name so you sellouts should be perfectly happy with him and the rest of the nations RINOs. Take Pataki and Sunquist too. WE don't want them, but I'm sure you'll take ANYONE with an "R" next to their name. Maybe he can take all you murderers off death row and help elect MORE Democrats. Heck, you'll already take one who's married to corrupt Democrats. It doesn't matter, he has an "R" to his name. That's all that matters.

Ah Tkathy...looks like the California Republicans are going to shoot themselves in the foot again. When Gov Bustamante is raising our taxes and letting all the Mexicans into our state, at least the Conservatives can say that there isn't a RINO as Governor. Idiots.

I'd like Simon to drop out. McClintock should stay in the race as a backup candidate for Arnold.
Since Arnold is the current one to beat, we can count on Davis to smear him big time. I'm backing McClintock until I see Arnold clearly leading the polls - - - then I WILL switch my vote to Arnold.
The really sad part about Arnold being elected is that any governor who does well in California has presidential potential, but Arnold would be excluded from entering the presidential race because he was not born in the USA.

Voting for someone because he's the best of two evils is what has got us in the situation were in now.
Actually, it is because we WOULDN'T vote for "the lesser of two evils that could win" that caused Gray Davis to win in 2002.
