40-year-old woman indicted for having sexual relationship with teenage boy BY ELIZABETH LANGTON AVALANCHE-JOURNAL
A 40-year-old mother was indicted Tuesday on charges of engaging in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy.
Tammy Nipp of Wolfforth faces sexual assault charges in connection with four sexual encounters with the teenager, according to court documents.
Nipp was arrested in June and released on $25,000 bond.
Authorities learned of the allegations from an attorney representing Nipp's husband. The attorney told sheriff's deputies the husband learned about the affair from his daughter.
The victim told police that he and Nipp had sex five times between March 2002 and January 2003. Four of the encounters occurred in Nipp's house and truck and the victim's house, according to reports.
The victim told deputies that Nipp initiated the sexual relationship.
Nipp admitted having sex with the teen, reports said, but said the boy "came on to her."
"She stated that at first she did not realize what was going on; she was not used to anyone coming on to her," Deputy Cynthia Metsgar's report said.
Nipp's husband told deputies that his wife frequently stayed up late chatting with teenage boys on the Internet.
The victim and several other teenage boys, all friends of Nipp's daughter, spent time at her home. In the winter, Nipp and another mother took the group to New Mexico.
Nipp and the victim had sex during the trip, reports said.
Nipp's daughter learned of the affair from a friend and told her father, reports said.
Authorities say sexual assault cases involving female perpetrators are rare.
Last year, Lubbock County grand juries indicted a female school teacher and a female school bus driver on charges of sexual assaulting young boys.

It doesn't matter that she is a pig. This woman is 40, her victim is 16. I don't care if you are a man/woman or gender confused...when you mess with a minor expect to do the time that you rightfully deserve, unless your victim's parents can get to you first. And this woman lives in Texas?
Doesn't she have any idea the gun/owner ratio in Texas? Does anyone want to give me odds that she lives to see trial?

On a serious note - I've know of 2 guys who were victims of this same situation in their youth, both grew up to be sex addicts. Kinda makes you wonder....
