" Heard he was going to tap Willie Brown. :O)"

No, no, no. He said that Willie Brown and he were going to tap dance.

"Arnold = intellectual chaos? One minute he's throwing money and props at the Club for Growth, another minute he's chumming up to Warren Buffet, a man who feels guilty about receiving any kind of tax cut? Marge, get me my pills..."

This type of insanity is a "perfect match" for the sheeple mongoloids of California. Arnold, Warren, Grey, Diane Feinswine, yadiyadi all deserve each other.

Keep in mind all the "referendums" that the greedy sheeple used to "vote themselves the public dole" to quote Alexis DeToqueville.

How can a state of 33 million people only cough up 8 million voters in a presidential election? Especially when you have at least 5 million illegal residents.

My final answer is...get the HELL out of Mexifornia/Aztlan while you still can!

I have a cousin by marriage who is a US Senator. Warren gave a speech to the Senate at a lunch.

The topic was about how he won, "The Ovary Lottery".

First, he was born white, a US citizen, blah, blah.

The morale, without triggering kneejerk regurgitation is that he is where he is today largely because of the luck of drawing the right egg out of the right woman, and the luck of having it mix with the right corresponding zygote from Daddy.

I couldn't believe it when he told me about it. The guy's a D senator, so he was totally in synch with Buffet's drivel.

So why doesn't he ditch it all and drive a forklift if he feels so guilty? Warren Buffet, like all of us (with a few exceptions) is where he is because of the choices he made in life.

(08-13) 12:19 PDT LOS ANGELES (AP) --

Arnold Schwarzenegger has hired Warren Buffett as his senior financial and economic adviser, his campaign announced Wednesday.

Buffett is a billionaire investor legendary for his financial prowess. The chairman of Berkshire Hathaway is also a Democrat.

"What he will be doing is assembling other prominent business leaders and economists and setting up a team to address the issues facing California," said Schwarzenegger spokesman Sean Walsh.

"I have known Arnold for years and know he'll be a great governor. It is critical to the rest of the nation that California's economic crisis be solved, and I think Arnold will get that job done," Buffett said in a statement.

Buying at low prices into well-known, solid companies, Buffett built Omaha, Neb.-based Berkshire into a huge conglomerate with a market value of more than $80 billion that owns insurance, restaurant, furniture and shoe companies. Buffett generally avoids high-tech companies, arguing he cannot tell which will be usurped by advances in technology.

Well, at least he didn't pick George Soros...

I hope it's all for show only.

NO!

Yeah. What has Buffett ever done in the economic realm anyway?

I know few people on this board like Buffett because of his politics, but there aren't too many people out there who know more about business than him.

Does that mean Buffet now has to put his holdings into a blind trust? He is probably making millions off of the market fluctuations of the CA Gov. race alone.

"We still find the greedy hand of government thrusting itself into every corner and crevice of industry, and grasping at the spoil of the multitude. Invention is continually exercised to furnish new pretenses for revenue and taxation. It watches prosperity as its prey and permits none to escape without a tribute." -- Thomas Paine

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.-- C. S. Lewis

Why? He isn't being appointed to any political position. He is just an advisor.

And she'll only charge $4.99 a minute with the first five minutes free!

Can't do it. It'll get around and my family will make me ride a number 3 fid.

He wasn't the only guy there. I can't tell you what an impact that I guy like that makes on legislators when he says, "It was just luck."

It allows liberals to justify every bad thing they do to business on what they believe to be moral grounds.

Warren Buffet would not be my choice for economic advisor.

I suppose it would seem logical that Buffet knows a few things about money.

HOWEVER, I'd a LOT RATHER

that Arnold stayed a LOT FURTHER

AWAY from the puppet masters than buddying up with Buffet.

Sigh.

Hopefully Arnold's horse sense will filter out the horse manure from Buffet. Thankfully, Buffet's money shouldn't awe Arnold. And if Buffet intimates that Arnold had better follow the puppet master's orders or suffer termination, I suspect the Terminator might have some choice words or actions in reply. That could be interesting indeed.

Arnold picked a smart business manager-- who happens to be a Democrat. It's not that controversial. It's not like he picked a valet from his restaurant.

California needs to make some money, and while I do not like (understatement) Buffett's politics, there are few people as adept at making money as he is.
