Not that modest. A few months ago, he emphasized that he had a right to talk about war and peace, having served in Vietnam. He was implying that only veterans could talk about such matters. Once he got flambeed in print for that one, he suddenly became more humble, or at least quiet, about that topic.

I heard Rush say that Kerry is quoted in the Boston Globe as saying he is BLESSED to be weathly and we need to means-test social security. That means we need to CUT BENEFITS...Kerry is proposing Cutting Social Security, something that the Rats always accuse the Republicans of planning....unbelievable!!
