[history]
Although his past races earned Gov. Gray Davis a reputation as an aggressive campaigner, his advisers said he'll fight the Oct. 7 recall election with a strategy based on trying to fly above the circus swirling below him.
If he is to survive the first recall election in California history, his advisers said, he must also show voters the Republican-led recall will not solve California's problems but merely aggravate them by costing $66 million dollars and possibly leaving a small, fringe group in control of nation's most populous state and the world's fifth-largest economy.

So how is he going to look like a governor? He never has been one! This is too funny. What the idiot needs to do is start cutting spending, and rescend that triple car license fee!

So how is he going to look like a governor? He never has been one! But to a liberal, this makes complete sense. You fail utterly on the job for five years, then you get another four years to get it right. Isn't this the same formula they apply to the educational system? Or for the communist socio/econmic/government system? LOL! Demented dreamers begone!

On the TV news tonight they showed a clip of Davis saying the "recall is an insult to the 8 million people who voted in the last election." Davis neglected to mention only 3 million of those people actually voted for him, out of a state of 35 to 45 million depending on how you count 'em. But this is a TV audience where facts are not checked. It's very interesting how the liberal media scrubs that 8 million figure out of their print and web distributions. A quick look-up shows that 8 million figure is totally misleading. Davis didn't get a democratic majority this last election.
