Ask him if Garamendi and Issa showed a lot of class and leadership buy dropping out of the race.

"Yes. I hope Arnold does the same."
Actually, Arnold benefits from McClintock's presence on the ballot, which will bring out more conservatives to ensure Davis will be recalled.
And Arnold benefits McClintock, because he's taking votes away from Bustamante.

Garamendi dropped out because union thugs told him to, and Issa dropped out because Rove told him to. Hardly acts of courage.

TM, when asked if he, Simon, AS would split vote and elect bustamante, TM said it wouldn't be "rational" for voters to turn around and elect a governor with the same policies as the one they just recalled.
But he's got to know most voters are not rational -- if they were, no candidate would bother with soundbite and slogan-driven campaigning.

Garamendi is a *COWARD*, but Issa is a *TRUE HERO*. If McClintock doesn't *WISE UP* soon and *ENDORSE* Schwarzenegger, we're going to end up with the *RACIST* Cruz Bustamante in California's *GOVERNOR'S MANSION*!

Interesting.

After witnessing Issa's blubbering, I think we're better of without him.
Yet, thanks to him for paying everyone's admission to the circus.

You do have some points there. I only hope sanity prevails & someone with competance wins-but then he gets the smear of failure!!

I'll consider McClintock when his numbers can top Bustamante's. . . hehehe. Yeah right!

What's so great about Arnold? He is a man who pretends posing in male beauty pageants is a "sport" of body-building.
Just because he wants to be governor doesn't mean you should vote for him.
Didn't our Founding Fathers set up our system so we would vote our principes?
Are we supposed to vote for Arnold just because he is there?
He is pro-abortion.
He is pro-gun control.
He is pro-gay rights.
He has zero public policy experience.
But, hey, he's famous and his wife is gorgeous and he is worth $880 million dollars.
What is wrong, on principle, with McClintock?
Taking huge amounts of steroids and destroying your heart and posing in male beauty pageants is not reason enough to compromise principles.

What is wrong, on principle, with McClintock? He's unelectable.
(How's that for a "principle"?)

There are sports and their are competitions.
A sport is an athletic physical activity that has a score determined by the participants. A competiton is an athletic physical activity that has a score determined by non-participants.
The purest sport is, then, track and field. Following it are things like basketball, baseball, football, tennis, etc.
The purest type of competition is something like figure skating or gymnastics, wonderfully athletic, but able to be fixed by judges (France and the last Olympics.)
Interestingly, I'd consider boxing to be a competiton and not a sport.

This recall is about serious issues of fiscal malefeasance. I won't support any candidate that doesn't address these issues in a logical manner, no matter how many boogeyman scenarios anyone predicts. This recall is about getting *RID* of Gray Davis, the *WORST* governor in California *HISTORY*.
Let's face the simple *FACT* that *NOBODY* can be *WORSE* than Davis. Bustamante, Davis' longtime *PARTNER* in *CRIME* would be *JUST AS BAD*, but *NOBODY* could be *WORSE*. For that simple *REASON*, we need to stand *BEHIND* the *ONE* person who can *DEFEAT* Davis and Bustamante, and *THAT MAN* is *ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER*.

While it may not be impossible for a conservative to win the governorship in California it has been 33 years (1970) since a conservative has been elected governor.
