I hate to say it, but, there many young women who would look good in such low cut jeans. I am really sick of seeing fat tummies hanging out over low cut jeans and short shirts.

Funny, was born in the late seventies. I hardly grew up in the 'good old days'. I couldn't leave the house with my shirt untucked or wearing a baseball cap, let lone wearing any of the crap people wear all the time. What can I tell you?

I don't hate to say it ;o)

Low cut jeans look great on young women with nice bodies and great stomachs. I love the look. However, some of the really low ones just look incredibly trashy/slutty and visually don't enhance the natural beauty of god's greatest creation.

I feel similarly about string bikinis....the string bikini design, IMO does not compliment the natural curves of a well shaped woman.

Yes they will go away .. these things were big in the hippy days and are making a brief come back .. it won't last

Yup. And (unfortunately) women put their bras back on too. Damn!

No kidding. Those things look like must be held up with some kind of adhesive!

Back around 1971 or 72, I remember these things being very fashionable. A girlfriend of mine, who could carry it off well, had a pair of hiphuggers that had a zipper only about 3" long, maybe a 4-5" rise. On the short end, but not the shortest I saw. Needed a bikini wax to wear them, and no underwear were available that didn't show. Even her lowest cut bikini would show. She wore them with 'tiny triangles' bikini top. Then she discovered string bikinis: came up a bit higher, but nothing on the sides or back, to speak of. I must say I was a happy consumer of the view and accessability.

This is true. The string is a distraction.

So what's new? In the 1960's and 70's low rider jeans were all the rage. Girls wore jeans at their hips and lower. Skirts were way up there as well. Clothing was far more "provocative" than the stuff out there now. This fad is nothing new, just a rehash of styles put out by boring designers.

The only difference I can see is that there are lots more fat women wearing these clothes than in the past. Disgusting.

She looks like her pants are about to fall off.

Just wait 'til she bends over or tries to sit down.

We had a girl who used to work here that wore low-cut pants. Only problem was that she weighed over 250 lbs.

Every time she bent over, the pants almost exploded.

The worst was the morning I turned around and got a nasty eyeful of "plumber's crack". EWWWW!

Needless to say, some people really shouldn't be wearing things like that.

Forget the no-rise pants, I hope she has a good dermatologist.

My mother would have slapped the taste out of my mouth if I attempted to wear something like that when I was a teenager. I would have caught it not only for the attempt but the complaining and back talk I would have given. I never wanted to wear anything like that. I was too self conscious at that age (still am).

Bingo. As a healthy, red-blooded American man, I can enjoy eye candy without lamenting the fall of our society. But when the jiggle is in the middle, keep it to yourself.

BUT...I do think it's disturbing to see very young girls embracing the style. At least boys aren't running around in banana hammocks.

And that is why they won't last .. not many could wear them very well.

Things changed from the miniskirt (and micromini) of the 1960s. Clothing covered up a lot for awhile. Of course I don't think that JCPenney's was selling microminis to gradeschoolers in the 1960s or encouraging them to wear such dresses without underwear like the 18-23 crowd was doing.
