Our government may have cut a deal with China, but this frequent shopper passes over "Made In China" labels for "Made in USA."

A disgusting sight is the "Made In China" labels on the American Flag. Call me old fashioned, but I know where my loyalties lie...

I am the flag of the United States of America.

My name is Old Glory.

I fly atop the world's tallest buildings.
I stand watch in America's halls of justice.
I fly majestically over great institutes of learning.
I stand guard with the greatest military power in the world.

Look up! And see me!
I stand for peace - honor - truth and justice.
I stand for freedom
I am confident - I am arrogant
I am proud.

When I am flown with my fellow banners

I was there.
I led my soldiers - I followed them.
I watched over them.
They loved me.
I was on a small hill in Iwo Jima.
I was dirty, battle-worn and tired,
but my soldiers cheered me,
and I was proud.

I have been soiled, burned, torn
and trampled on the streets of countries
I have helped set free.
It does not hurt, for I am invincible.

Freezie, thank you for introducing us to highroadtochina. Great job as always. Billie, love your presentation and the panda hostess graphic. Too cute, we are. :-)

Highroadtochina, I remember reading some of the threads about the Free Iraq rally in SF and thinking how much courage it takes for such a small group to oppose 65,000! I know several who attended that rally on the pro-USA side, but actually I consider ALL who stand up and support the US my brothers and sisters, and I praise God you all came out of it unscathed. Many have seen how peace-loving "they" can be when confronted with the truth.

Thanks for being there and for all you do. Welcome to the Finest spotlight. Enjoy your day!
