LOGAN UPDATE:

Our boy just keeps getting bigger and better!
He had a temper tantrum this morning at 2:00 A.M. much to the delight of his mommy (yeah, right!).
I haven't gotten to hear him cry in a long time (seems like years!), but his Nana says he can really let it out when he gets mad!
'Course, when I heard about it, I naturally thought about him as a Drill Instructor in the Corps, and he's got to have a strong voice for that job.
He's just getting ready!

He had his first swing ride yesterday, and he wasn't sure he was going to like that thing.
He calmed down pretty quick, and I predict that is going to be his favorite place to be.

We no longer have to talk about his poop. It's fine....not the poop, but the ability to do so....well, the poop is fine, too, but.......heck, you know what I mean!

He's eating like a little piggy, and having no problems!
Ain't God grand??!

PICTURES!!

YOU GO, TERMITE!!

And now, by permission from M0sby, here's the ongoing update of all of our little ones and our loved ones who need our prayers:

THE TEXAS TERMITE'S

Prayer Thread's

Prayer Requests through 11/17/03

God Blessem' all!

Hello all~
Here is Logan's Thread of Prayer requests updated for the week of November 17th! ( I HOPE)
It is attached to Logan's update today so the list can be updated and  made current!
If you know anything about the folks on the list that is new let me know and I will get it added...
THANKS!!!!
M0sby (that's a zero)

I'll add an update about Faith, my daughter with MS:

She's on the upturn from the worst attack of MS she's ever endured.
She's now taking a once a month dose of the strongest steroid available for this exacerbation of her disease.
She's out of her dreaded power wheelchair and back to walking with her walker and cane.
You see, a wheelchair to an MS patient is the nightmare they've hoped to avoid. It's the last step before being bedfast.
It means they've lost the ease of mobility, and that equates to a loss of independency. It's very depressing.
With the help of your prayers and a loving God who listened to those prayers, Faith only needed it for a short time.

THANK YOU, GOD!

THANK YOU, FRIENDS!

Prayer warriors, we have many people who need our help.
God loves the callouses on our knees!

God Bless and watch over each of the people we've brought to Him...His Love and Mercy are boundless.

I know that startled expression, from the swing! Logan's little FRiend had her first swing experience this morning. I heard about it at lunch-time. It sounds like she, too, will be spending time in the swing...she loves it!

The kid looks exactly like me...

I was a Pyloric Stenosus kid...

I was born 8lb 11oz...

then I started to vomit...

beakfast, mid-morning, lunch, mid-afternoon and dinner.

After two weeks I lost 70% of my birth-weight...

Finally, I was operated on...

the Doc knew what he was doing and the next thing you know...

now, I am 6'4" and very healthy!!

Tip, feed the kid Kelloggs Corn Flakes.

Prayers continue tonight for that darned canula to go by the wayside for Logan ( by Christmas please) , and for Faith to have no need, ever again ,of that darned wheelchair.

I do have a special request to anyone reading. I know some of you have been to the prayer thread for the troops, many of you before I even saw the thread, but if you haven't please stop by and leave a wee bit of a prayer for these folks.

The other night I watched we were soilders once, and I was reminded of a Vietnam vet I met while I was in college. This man explained to me that it wasn't the images of war that disturbed him most and gave him nightmares, it was the fact that he was actualy spat upon the day he arrived home to his country. His story has disturbed me ever since that day. I will never forget that man and his pain, and the fact that it was inflicted upon him by people for whom he risked his life, fighting for their freedom.

I have adopted it as a personal mission to never witness a soldier being disrespected like that again. Please help me counter the negative stories in the media by leaving a positive word for these brave men and women , if you haven't already.

The prayer warriors I have seen on this thread, leave such uplifing, inspirational messages. I know there is alot of praying going on around here .. Thanks for this moment to vent on Logan's time, can you tell it is really buugin' me lately? :}

What a beautiful little boy, "our" Logan is!

But, pretty soon we're going to have to drop the "Termite" and start calling him "Little Man" ;^)

Oh the photos of Logan are so sweet. He looks so shiny and healthy. Looking at his legs is so gratifying when I think back at his legs and how little they were in his early days. What a miracle birth is and then to see someone so weak and fragile come this far ... well, it is overwhelming to say the least.

God bless all of those on the prayers threads. Am sooooo glad to finally hear something about the remaining triplets. Oh, that does my heart so good. I was so worried about the remaining too but now they too are doing great and their parents along with Logans and everyone elses like TC can give thanks to the Lord on this very, very special Thanksgiving Day.

God bless everyone and thanks for posting the photos...they are priceless.
