Alrighty! Logan is out of surgery...it lasted 2 hours.
I WAS going to go into the details of the surgery...but I think I’ll let Nana do that. It seems like TMI...
He tolerated the anesthesia really well. He was given an epideral, Nana doesn’t know why...
It was, they’re told, an extremely painful procedure.
They’re going to let him wake up on his own, as “forcing it” is too hard on his system. However, he’s not “way under”.
If all goes well....he’ll be able to come home tonight....
Nana & Beth said to yet again and again and AGAIN~~~....thank you all DEARLY for having been with their Logan, from the start....
Nana’s headed home for a MUCH needed nap.....
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!!!!

Yes, thank you, Lord, for being with this precious one through another medical procedure. Please strengthen him, comfort him, and bless him as he heals. Thank you for watching over him, and his family, Lord.
In Jesus’ Holy Name,
Amen

Good news. Thank God he came through it all OK. What a tough little guy our Logan is. Good Lord...he’s been through more in his young life than most of us have been through in our lifetime. He is special and maybe one day we will know why. Prayers of thanks for more good news regarding our Logan. Hope he has a toy or a goodie waiting for when he “wakes up.” :)

There is none like unto thee, O Lord ... could we but glimpse the fullness of Your love and compassion for the little ones, the very ones You have lovingly said to come unto You. Yet we perceive a measure of the depth of Your love and care in all that You have done, and continue to do, for precious Logan. Strengthen every fiber of his body, that he might continue to grow into vibrant health ... fashion every beat of his heart that he would become a mighty man of God ... continue to guard his beloved family that he might experience their love for years upon years.
We bow before You, Creator of Heaven and Earth, and Magnify Your Name for love unending. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we Praise You ... Amen ...

Yee Hah!
I told y'all he'd come through OK. Epidural probably has less effect on those parts of the body not part of the surgery. And with such a procedure, (Ouch!), and his lung problems, they probably didn't want to give him much system (whole body) anesthesia.
