If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

Logan wanted to be a bullrider, but that's a little girl calf he's on.
Her name is Emma, and she loved Logan immediately.

BG, I searched the ping list (
WHICH YOU SENT ME, BTW!), and I didn't find your name.

We had a little daughter born 12/19/2000 at 2lbs. 14".
So I know first hand what you are going through. The Lord took our little one home on 7/5/2001 at 6 months / 6 lbs.
A lot of these little ones make it, and some don't, it is hard to understand why God allows these type of things to happen, we cannot even begin to understand his reasoning.
God Bless you !
To: TexasCowboy
AAAAAAWWWWWWWW! I'm speechless.
To: TexasCowboy
My name must have fallen off the ping list, TC. Add it again please!
Glad I happened to see these adorable pics, and glad to see that Emma is helping Logan get the feel of bullriding before he tries the real thing! :-)

I'm sorry, LucyJo.
It's all BG's fault, but I put you back on.

"we cannot even begin to understand his reasoning." I'm very sorry about your baby.
All we can hang onto is that His reasoning is infallible.
To: TexasCowboy
Thanks, TC. I won't be too hard on BG, since I did see the pic of Logan driving Nana's car when she posted it on the 2nd Quarter Freepathon thread last night. But, I sure would have hated missing the YeeeHaWWW practice ride, and the bluebonnets! It's getting harder and harder to pick favorite pictures of that cute little guy.

That is one tame calf, LOL. I see he chose a 'bull' ridin' over a horse.

"That is one tame calf, LOL. I see he chose a 'bull' ridin' over a horse." Do you see the way he's got that right arm up for balance?
Uncle G didn't make him do that.
As soon as he sat down on that big, bad bull...uh, baby momma's back, he threw that arm up and reached for the bull rope!
He's a natural!

Logan in the bluebonnets is so precious! Wow, look at that little cowboy! Ride 'em, honey!
I love you, Logan!

"Emma is a beautiful calf." You got that right!
All baby calves are pretty, but that one is exceptional!
To: stanz
Stanz, I laughed harder at that picture than anyone I've seen of him.
It just looks like he's about to shift into drive, and as soon as he gets directions, he's gone - like a cool breeze.
