If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

My first son had reflux until he was one. He turned one and proof it was gone.
Prayers continue for Logan. I will be keeping vigil until I hear he is safe. I just know he is going to be alright.
Look at that beautiful face. He has been kissed by an angel that is for sure!

Thanks for the update on Logan! A good thing about him having surgery now is that he's going to be able to withstand it better because he's bigger, healthier, and stronger!

PRAISE GOD!!! Thank you for the update and the pictures! Prayers continue...

The strange thing about baby's throwing up is that pediatricians have different definitions for reflux.
My daughter had projectile vomiting for much of her babyhood, and the pediatrician, who had never seen her do it, kept insisting that we were exaggerating about the amount she was thowing up.
"Well, you know, a tablespoon full looks like a lot when it's on a clean sheet!"
I said, "Yeah, and a full bottle IS a lot when she throws it six feet!"
LOL!
I've never seen Logan throw his up, but it sounds a lot like what my daughter did before we got her formula right.
I was raised on goat's milk straight from the goat for the same condition.
I still think goat's milk is underrated for vomiting problems.

Yes, he is much stronger and healthier now than he was when he had his hernia surgery.
God will look after him.

Thanks for the update and the great Logan pictures. I was grumbling this morning that I was experiencing "Logan withdrawl" and, just in time, here is my fix.
Logan is going to do fine with his surgery. I know that because I have prayers to spare and have been practicing just in case Logan needs them. When it is time for surgery, there will be an extra ton of prayers from Oregon.
I do wish that the canula was gone, gonna have to double up on the canula prayers as well.

What a cutie! We're going to have to come up with a new nickname though. Termite is hardly a fitting name for that big boy!

I love you, Little One. So much. You're sure growing up, nice and big and strong.
Tell Nana I'll call her in a couple of hours, OK? IF you don't mind, that is, what with your social calendar this weekend being so full!

I know we were all hoping to hear that Logan wouldn't have to have surgery for the hydrocele. Keeping him in heart, mind, and prayer, as always, and adding prayers for "Uncle Tonk" to get to feeling better too.
Thanks for the pics, TC, they're adorable as usual...:)

"I don't think he's come clean with those other things Santa left for ya." Okay! Okay! I'll admit it!
I've still got his little car that went with his hard hat!
It's a lot of fun to ride around the rig site!
I guess I'll have to take it to him when I get off.....
Sigh........

"I know we were all hoping to hear that Logan wouldn't have to have surgery for the hydrocele." I know. Me, too.
I'll be praying big time for this to turn out all right.
To: blackie
Good to see ya, blackie!
Logan is kicked back taking it one day at a time.
To: 68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub
Uncle Tonk, when I was talking to Logan yesterday, he said to tell you that chicken noodle soup and a lot of TLC fixes
anything !
Hope your feeling better, old friend.
To: Ima Lurker
"Termite is hardly a fitting name for that big boy!" Yeah, we've talked about that before.
When he's a 230 pound linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, we'll still be calling him, "Termite"!
