If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

My family keeps asking me what I want for Christmas, other than teaching materials, and Care packages for the troops I have not had an answer for them.
Now I know what I will ask for.. I will ask everyone I know to pray that Logan will be able to take that darn canula out once and for all!
Prayers for Logan to be healthy , and have no further need for that pesty little tube in his nose.
My son hates that thing, and I have to struggle with him to wear it for a short time. Logan is a trooper to put up with it for so long!
God bless you Logan, Beth , Bud , Nana , TC and Brad's Gramma. I am praying for a bountiful Thanksgiving and joyful Christmas for all of you!
Thank you for sharing Logan with us.. his life is a blessing to me and my family.
P.S. Hey little Logan.. I knew you could do it! I hope your little legs dont hurt too much tonight.. shots can be ouchy, but it won't last forever....Don't forget to give your Mommy, Daddy and Nana lots of snugs and hugs. Please give big kisses and silly smiles to TC and Brad's Gramma when you see them. They sure do love you.

TC, I really love this baby. Apparently, I'm probably not going to be a grandma because of weird complications in my two kids' lives. Nuts! So I hold Logan close to my heart, even dream about him. Can I be an honorary gran? I'd be honored if you'd put me on that lonnnnnnnng list. LOL.
I pray every day for Logan, also for Faith.

Hi lil one!
Thank You for letting us know you are stll getting better and bigger!
And Thanks to you for letting Uncle TC post some more pics.
And WOO HOO soon Brad's Gramma will visit with you.
(tell her why the doggie keeps shrinking) hehehe
Most of all TT, Thank You, your mommy, daddy and Nana
for sharing your miracle with us.
Someday you will realize just how much you helped All of us.
I've mentioned several times that God does indeed have a Special Plan for you.
And as time moves on you will know what it is.
You will find the answer in prayer, in yourheart and in your soul.
BUT for now, just be happy!
Smile, laugh, play, eat, sleep and start all over again!
Make your family smile and laugh with you.
I sure do love you Logan!
God loves you and so do we.
*HUG*

"I just wish I could be a fly on the wall so I could see you and Brad's Gramma fight over the Termite!!""Don't worry.
I'll win."
There was a guy named Napoleon who said the same thing to the French people before the battle of Waterloo.

"(make sure he goes to Texas A&M). Gig 'Em " Uh......make that, "hook 'em"!
I've already requested some brochures from the University of Texas.

"I am praying for a bountiful Thanksgiving and joyful Christmas for all of you!" I've got my daughter and my Logan to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
The best Christmas gifts that I could ever hope for is that my daughter would never have to sit in that wheelchair again and that Logan would never need that canula in his nose again.
For this I pray, dear Lord.

Awwwwwwww........shucks.
Let me tell you a little 'bout me. I have 3 kids. One grandchild. And it looks like that's gonna be it....
Now, my middle daughter got herself a doggy. I can't stand the little yipper but that's another story.... She brought the thing over one day and told me that was the closest thing to a grandchild I'd get out of her, so ENJOY HER!
Being the WONDERFUL gramma I am, I "get to" babysit the little YIP! YIP! YIP! HOWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL darling all day, everyday.
Sigh.
To: PoisedWoman
"Can I be an honorary gran?" Hon, Logan's love encompasses all.
We're all honorary members of his family, and we are so blessed.

Please give big kisses and silly smiles to TC and Brad's Gramma when you see them. While I'm holding him, I'll be sure to turn him TC's way every now & then for a smile, is that OK?
To: TexasCowboy
I just love that last picture.
To: Shandon Belle
You have nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo idea.
To: PoisedWoman
I know how you feel My only son is still single (he's 31). Fortunately, I get to love a LOT of babies, but first I have to help them to get well.
To: TexasCowboy
And I'll join you in that prayer, my friend. Betcha EVERYONE reading this, will too.
To: TexasCowboy; Brad's Gramma
Oh, boy. I AM a troublemaker, aren't I? LOL!! I guess I'll never get to be an ambassador of goodwill.
To: TexasCowboy

I have a friend who has 5 children of her own...and LOVES babies so much, she volunteers at the hospital....to just sit and rock the ones in need.
Cool, huh?
To: Brad's Gramma
Well it is okay with me.. but I think TC will chime in that he feels otherwise. Just a hunch! But I would like to see the running match if I had a chance to get to Logan before either of you ;}
