If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

Someone archive this thread. Let's try to remember, although a long time away from now, to print it out in about 15 years in 2018 to show to a strong little young man named Logan who will be amazed at all the nice comments, prayer, hopes and general American positive energy that went his way at a very critical time in his life. I'm sure it will be quite a statement to him to remember for many many years.

(Have YOU had your Logan Fix today?)
To: Brad's Gramma
I keep thinking about this beautiful baby and I get tears when I see his sweet little face! My baby turns one in less than 3 weeks and every day I remark at the things he can do. I want Logan's mommy and daddy to be able to see that too because it is the greatest thing about being a parent, IMO.
Prayers still going for you Logan and family!

This just in from Logan's Nana......
<< Hang in there. >>
We're hanging. They are tranfusing him as I type this to see if it will help give him the boost to get him over this latest episode. He is showing that he's a bit anemic again. One good thing, he has no "bleeders" in his
brain.
That is a great concern, and thank God he doesn't have that.
Thank you for the beautiful prayers....

Well, I missed the pings before your Freepmail. I will pray for Logan to KOKO (Keep On Keeping On).
The good news about something this bad is that the struggle continues. If Logan couldn't keep struggling, we wouldn't need to pray for him and family. So I rejoice in the struggling and all that that means, and pray the centimeter progress and the continuing days fill the family's progress monitor much more largely than the setbacks.
To: Brad's Gramma
May God watch over this precious child and heal him, if that is His will. May He guide the doctors and nurses who care for him, and may He hold the family close and comfort them. In Jesus' name.
