If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

You know, if you & I put our heads together.....we could start a business.
Nana's 'R Us!
Gramma's 'R Us!
You Have 'Em, We Hold 'Em!
I'd even work for a mere pittance. Or free.

I had an easy time......ducking, running. And I wish I would have had more, too.
OK. "You Have 'Em, We Hold 'Em" it is.
Ladies? GrandMoM and I are now open for business.

Oh ggeeeeezzzeee I just got rid of the baby crib!!!
Oh well, I'll just get another one.
Seriously, though, I have been thinking of going to one of the day care centers in town and working a couple days a week taking care of infants. I have a friend that does it and she just loves it.

Graphic brought to you by Tooters!
I'm going to try to see if I can bring the latest Logan news from memory of my conversation with his Nana this afternoon.
Logan's having apnea problems...he's forgetting to breathe so he's been put back on oxygen. They're having trouble regulating his body temperature, which POSSIBLY could mean there's an infection brewing. There's also a possibility that he'll have to have another blood transfusion. He's on antibiotics again (?).
His little cheeks are filling out now and his color is that wonderful baby pink.
Like I said earlier, please pray for his Mommy that her health can get back to where it needs to be so she can start seeing him again.
And, on a personal note, Logan's Nana told me this afternoon that whenever she reads of one of us putting a prayer request on this thread that SHE is praying for YOU....She really, really wanted you all to know that.
I hope I have all of this right. And.....here's two more pictures of our little guy. Thanks again everyone, more than words can express...thanks.

Please let Logan's Nana know that while I haven't been very vocal on this thread, that I am lifting lots of prayers for Logan -- and his family.
Thank you for posting the pictures. He sure looks like a fighter! (He's already a leader! Just look at the numbers of prayer warriors he's rallied to his side!)

Thanks so much for the continued updates! I've been following this thread and praying for sweet little Logan. His poor mother, with all she has to worry about, prays for us...what a loving person she must be.

#492...more pictures and an update on baby Logan. I have the feeling I've missed SO many people on the ping list. My apologies to those who've responded to this w/o a reply from me.
