If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers
.I bring you Logan!!!

PRAYING.
I don't understand the complications but still trust that God Almighty will do what He seemed to indicate to me and will insure the little fighter will become a fierce Warrior for The Lord at a early age.
Blessings,

continuing prayers for Logan and his family.

Thanks from me for the explantion. Jeez.. My heart is breaking over here. I tried to walk this morning, and I felt like someone was kicking me in the stomach. I am amazed that people like you , and Beth and Bud, are able to make it through this ordeal.
I hope your preemie is well. I pray for Beth, Bud and Nana, and all of my freeper friends who may be feeling down right now. I am not giving up on Logan. I know you aren't either.
God please hear our prayers. It is so important.
I have never felt so personaly invloved in what was happening in a stranger's life as I do right now. I can only say I feel like Nana , Bud , Beth ,Logan , TC and Brad's Gramma are my family right now. I really feel like I am praying for my family. On one hand it is so strange, on the other hand it is as if I have always known these people. I guess the world can be very small sometimes. I hope it is small enough for Logan to hear me tell him , don't give up. We need you here.

Thanks for your ping, Meek, I hadn't known about Logan before. I agree in prayer with everyone here for Logan's complete healing, and that he comes through with flying colors.

Before our Father's throne We pour our ardent prayers; Our fears, our hopes, our aims are one, Our comforts and our cares.
We share each other's woes, Our mutual burdens bear, And often for each other flows The sympathizing tear.
We are likeminded before the Throne of Grace on behalf of precious Logan, Lord ... in Your hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. In Your mercy, may we know the sweetness that is Logan for many years to come ... please, Jesus ...

The Little Termite really has a fight on his hands. How did this all happen so fast when he seemed to be thriving so well? I'm wondering if the surgery could have waited. Anyway, the antibiotics and the blood transfusions will give him the strength he needs to repair his lungs. We are rooting for him and have him in our thoughts. Thank you for pinging me and keeping me informed of his condition. I will be checking the thread all day.
With much love for a tiny baby.....

I know! I keep telling my husband , who is a bit surprised by my reaction to this thread this AM, that I know I have never met this baby. I know this is Beth and Bud's baby. But I feel as though I understand some small part of Logan. I can almost feel him smiling at me through this computer screen. Boy... even though I have a soft spot for any baby, how am I this effected by Logan and his crew?
I know there is a reason for it. I know it willunfold as it should.
I still have faith that Logan is going to go home with his Mom and DAd ,and I am still......praying.
BTW.. God watch over your husband and bring him home to you soon.

Thanks for that!
It's just too hard to walk away from the computer this morning... I keep wanting to read more prayers so I can pray too!
I will have to take care of my own children here at some point... but I just want to stay here!
We are hoping for Dan's return very soon... (finger's crossed)
It is GREAT to run into you on another thread...
