Baby Florence, 3 week picture...

Well our precious baby is 3 weeks old today and tomorrow is 3 weeks post surgery. She has not progressed as they had hoped and today, a barium test was performed and it didn't turn out well. Florence will again undergo surgery Friday morning at 8 a.m. Please, please... when you receive this, pray for this little one and then pass it on to your friends and prayer groups.

We'll keep you updated........

Aw, this is awful. I had so hoped that this wee little one would be on the road to recovery by now. More urgent prayers, Lord. Please be with the doctors so that they do everything right. Heal this little one and put her on the road to normal.

Gordon just called. Surgery went well. The part that was sectioned before was perfect. The part that was stretched and was obvious before she was born, was the problem. That was sectioned and she is now in recovery. Thank God!.... thank all for your prayers and for your love. Baby Florence now will be able to get well, be able to eat, and to come HOME hopefully soon.

She's still in recovery and on a vent. Hopefully she'll be back in NICU this evening and off the vent by in the morning. She's been thru a lot at 3 weeks and 2 days, hasn't she?

BTW... all the babies in NICU today are dressed as little elves :) How sweet is that!!

Prayers that the baby gets to spend a little of her Christmas in her loving parents’ arms!

If they get the chance, I’d love to see a picture of her in her elf costume. (I wonder if she’ll be Santa tomorrow(?). I guess that’d require a promotion.) ;)
