If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.
He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”
On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Sometime in the next couple of months, she will be getting sisters. Yes, sisters, twins, identical twins. The problem is that they aren't doing as well inside her Mommie as we would all hope they would. They are very small, especially the little one, AKA Baby A. Baby A is quite a bit smaller than Baby B, and her Mommy's doctors are a bit worried about them.
Their names are Katherine (A) and Elizabeth (B). (Her Mommy has a Thing about English Queens.) They have more "family" type middle names though. Miss Victoria herself is "Jeanne" after her Grandma Gato and her Aunt B's middle name. One twin, and grandpa can't remember which middle name goes with which first name, will be "Joy" after her Mommy's middle name and her great grandma's first name. The other will be Josephine, after her Daddy's and Grandpa M's middle names, Joseph. Of course you'll notice all those "J" middle initials. Even Grandpa Gato, and his brother, niece, nephew, father and Grandfather have/had "J" for a middle initial.
Miss V would really appreciate that all of you do for her sisters what you have done for the Termite.
While she is waiting for the sisters to arrive, she's practicing so she can push them around.

Hi Nanc.....
It’s prayer time again for our little guy. The urologist had a surgery cancellation for tomorrow at 1 pm so Logan will have his surgery on his testicle then. He has to be at the hospital at 11 am. Not sure if they will be able to save the testicle until they get in there. This all stems from the prior hernia surgery that he had.
Scared to death because of the anesthesia. It was 4 years ago tomorrow that he almost died in the first surgery because of the anesthesia.

Our hearts are always with Logan. We will wish him the best as he has his surgery. We also are worried about my mom who has just suffered a second stroke since August.We hope she can be comfortable and at peace now that the end of her life is approaching. It’s been very hard.....
We are so sorry she has suffered another stroke.
We pray for her comfort, as well as for you and your family.
