If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

Early Evening/late afternoon PRAYER BUMP FOR LOGAN!!!
EELAPBFL
(that's for you BG!)
Glad he's mad!!
Congratulations!
Glad to hear of the improvements and the continued good care for Logan; and Mom/Beth, you are doing the right thing, getting some rest.
Thank you, God, for your hard-working angels ... both the seen and unseen kind .... on Logan's "team."
We thank you, Lord, and we bless you for the healing power so freely given through your Son, Our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Well, Logan had an uneventful day...... and that's good! He slept most of the day. At first I was concerned, but considering that he has had NO rest for so many days..... I guess his little body just said enough! He even slept thru his breathing treatment and the "poundings" on his back they do to loosen the stuff in his lungs. He did wake up and eat a little lunch, but he's fallen so far behind on eating that I'm sure his little tummy has shrunk. And that's not good because he's definitely not a good eater.
The plans are......... to have him take the Cystic Fibrosis sweat test at 8 in the morning. Then back on the monitor to see how he's doing with his oxygen. The Pulmo doc said she "may" release him tomorrow evening IF Beth will stay home with him for 2 days and then I will take care of him when she goes back to work. He is going to be sent home with oxygen and a monitor. But there's so many "bugs" going around the hospital, they just don't want him exposed to anymore any longer than necessary. He will not be released to go back to day school for 2 weeks at least. Here we go again!! LOL
Considering how very, very sick he was, the only explanation of his rapid road to recovery is good care and LOTS of prayers and well wishes! While he was sleeping, his little ears had color once more and he didn't have those dark, dark circles under his eyes. Now we just have to keep him well!!
One note......the doctor said that they now believe that RSV is a "contact" virus. Meaning that anything you touch has the virus on it. And that it "sheds" for 10 days. So everything he touched at home, toys, furniture, doors..... the whole tamale... has to be sprayed with Clorox spray. Thank Heaven he never puts stuff in his mouth! We have to wash our clothes and our bodies after we leave him so as not to take a chance of infecting others. Nasty stuff!
That's it for this evening. I will let you know as soon as we are sure he's going home. And please, offer a special prayer for a negative test result tomorrow.
My love and thanks to all.......
Nana ~~~~~~~~~
Thank you Lord for the progess, and please, Lord, PLEASE let that test be negative tomorrow....please continue to heal this child.
In Your Holy Name, AMEN!!
If you want on or off of this ping list, please FRmail me.
Sure thing,BG.
Prayers up for tonight...and will give him a double dose int he morning for the test. Please God, do not let him have CF...he has enough to handle already.
Stay strong Logan...we are with you buddy.
