If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.
He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”
On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

BG, we know that Logan is a miracle and a gift: your post of new pics reminds me of another miracle boy I know - his mama actually had an abortion and yet this boy not only survived but is as healthy and happy a baby as you could imagine! (I think it may have been a twin that was aborted but no one knows.) His laughter is so incredibly loud, from the belly, and contagious! Please pray for Henry and his mama; she is not saved and still thinks abortion is a woman's choice, even after all she's been through: she won a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood. It is a miracle that Henry survived that abortion proceedure, and another miracle that his mother chose not to try a second time to abort him. She loves her baby but hasn't yet made the truth-connections about her choice to abort, or what has happened to and for her and for her child in this 'botched' abortion. I've shared my own abortion and salvation testimony with her: she just hasn't gotten it yet. I know from my own experience that the guilt of my choice to abort was far too great to face without the simultaneous revelation of God's great forgiveness for all my sin in Christ Jesus. Please pray with me for Henry's mom; she received a Bible from me, but she currently practices Buddhism.

Cool..... The little guy's in a lot of people's prayers, including mine.
Well, can you believe that "our" baby is now 3 and is no longer a baby!?!! If we all close our eyes, we can go back to August 2003 when Aunti N first posted the prayer thread for Logan and it seems like the entire world came to his rescue with prayers and best wishes..... and the love affair began.
Logan is now in daycare 5 days a week. He goes to a wonderful learning center that is inspiring and just what his inquisitive little mind needs. He even has 2 structured classes, one is music and the other is Spanish!! When the decision was made for him to go, it was with such mixed emotions for me. I didn't want to be without my little buddy every day... I knew I would miss that Logan grin and those big beautiful blue eyes, but it was the right decision... for Logan and for me. He's a big boy now. He is happy making friends and being with his peers. His eating has improved so much watching the others and being one of the group. Logan has flown his "Nanee's nest" :) It's as it should be.
To all of you who have been here with us from the beginning.... He is where he is because of you all. Logan is a testament to the miracle of medicine, the love of a family and the prayers of devoted people who cared for this tiny infant and made him part of their lives. We state it every year..... there are no words to express our gratitude. So we say "Thank You" from the bottom of our hearts.
One last note, his "official" portrait isn't ready yet. As soon as it is, we'll ask Brad's Gramma to post it. And yes, there was one taken with his famous puppy :) We could never forget the dog!!
Logan's a lucky little guy. He has so many friends and family and a very special angel watching over him from Heaven. We promise to raise him to hopefully make all of you proud, and to never let him forget the love that all of you have given him.

We praise You for his loving family and ask Your continued blessings on all of them.Lord, we are grateful, too, for this community of believers, brought together in love and concern for one of the least of yours in his time of need. We thank You for the gift of prayer that we might bring our burdens to You and You will hear us.
Father, continue to lead and guide Logan as he grows. Protect him from harm and teach him of Your everlasting love. Amen.
