If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
:-)
they've touched our lives, as well....I feel so proud and blessed to be a part of it.
Hi ZG and Nanc....
Logan's Nana here for "TT". I must comment to your post.
We have said a thousand "thank you" prayers for all who have carried this child in their heart... and had it not been for a very special friend of mine, Brad's Gramma, we honestly do not believe that Logan would be with us today. And of course, we can't forget to add Jim Robinson who provided the vehicle in which we have traveled this road with everyone.
Through this caring, loving community of people who came together to offer their prayers and love to an infant they didn't even know..... we have all experienced a miracle.
God bless you all... and thank you.
Nana (for Logan and our entire family)
That boy has the most amazing blue eyes I have ever seen!
I love you.
OK...now I'm getting tears in my eyes....but not sad ones....ones of the true feeling of a miracle and the awesome power of prayer.
God bless you all.
Hamilton2, thank you SO MUCH!!! I know that you're new to this thread, don't worry...we get more Loganaholics :) all the time......
Please...go here...

If you EVER FEEL as if God will not/can not answer prayer..remember this baby. God bless you, Hamilton2. You and your family.
Praising God and grinning like crazy!
Hey Sweetie...how ARE you doing????
Logan's acceptance speech, "YOU LOVE ME! YOU ALL REALLY DO LOVE ME!!!!"
Beautiful blue eyes, so clear and purely blue.
Hanging in there ... barely. Way too busy (which is normal).
Check out that nose-crinklin', camera-posin', hot doggin' l'il Texan!!
He's amazing, BG ... walking .. WOW... God Bless his little sweet heart. Ya know, it's scary how quickly time is flyin' by ..
Where'd you learn to do all that fancy stuff??
The CIA, but of course! Ha!
Wow, what a trip it's been! :-)
WALKING! I'm beside myself with joy.....those pictures just go straight to my heart.
BG, you did a great job posting these, with appropriate stars and fireworks. Logan is for sure the winner of the Oscar for best everything. With a nod, of course, to his mom and dad and his Nana. He couldn't have done it without them.
Wow, Logan, are you a gorgeous boy. I am sucker for guys with blue eyes :) My little Brooke was 8 months old on the 17th and she is starting to pull herself up to standing once in a while--oh no! She also says 'da da' but she's a big Momma's girl. She's got beautiful blue eyes too. My little Steven (aka the broken leg kid from last summer) has to wear glasses now for farsightedness, but he doesn't let it slow him down (much to Mommy's dismay).
You know, I've had three kids, and it never ceases to amaze me how wonderfully different they all are...they are each a little gift from God, truly! I never thought being a mom would be the greatest joy of my life, but it is.
Logan, you are the little nephew I wish I had, because my sister-in-law keeps producing girls :P My little niece Kaitlyn Rose is due on May 30th.
You keep on growing buddy--we're rooting for ya!
Well, that too...but we're not talkin' about that, REMEMBER?
Top Secret and all that stuff. :)
Thank you so much for all the pictures!!!
