If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
Dear Texas Cowboy,
Just wanted to say Happy Birthday and May GOD Bless YOU Today and Always!
That picture of LOGAN in those BIG Cowboy Boots is simply too Precious for words.
Praying that LOGAN grows up to be like the Owner of those Cowboy Boots...he will have become a man of FAITH, LOVE and INTEGRITY.
THANK YOU TC for posting ALL of our Boy's Pictures.
THANK YOU ALWAYS... For LOVING our LORD and our LOGAN!
BTTT!!!!!!
Amen! (and now you've gone and made me cry again.)
I love my FR family.
Her story reminds me a lot of Faith's.
She was the epitome of physical fitness - running five miles a day and riding her bicycle everywhere she went.
Then she called me one day to tell me that one of her feet was dragging and she had a tick in her face.
Almost a year and many tests later, the diagnosis of MS was made.
God works in mysterious ways.
Everything goes through His hands first, and He has a purpose for everything He does, even though it doesn't make any sense to us.
Maybe God is directing your mother to a new path from which the gain will be worth the pain.
Congratulations on your new great nephew!
I'm honored we share the same birthday!
He's going to be a handful! My dear mother would have vouched for that!
I pray that he will find the Lord's way without all the pain I had to go through to get there.
Thank you, dear one.
God bless you.
Happy Birthday and may you enjoy many, many more. You and our Logan celebrating joyful birthdays for lots and lots of years. :) Root Canals? Yipes. :)
I can't believe that I didn't even say, "Happy Birthday, TC!!!!"
Happy Birthday, TC!!!!
And thank you for your good wishes. Don't you just hate "interesting" illnesses?
The boy is, indeed, "our Logan"!
That boy belongs to the world! Everyone is his friend, and he enjoys life to the fullest.
He has an acceptance of life on life's terms that is rare in adults, much less children.
Bump and a prayer.
Been away for a few days. Happy belated birthday TC.
Ahhhh man, I just now saw this ping so I'm soooo tardy it isn't even funny. BUT count me in on wishing you a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
(And I loved the shot of TT in your big red boots. You two guys are like two peas in a pod!)
WELL, THAT'S TOO LONG!
Our boy went to the Coast today so he's probably been wind surfing all day driving all the girls wild with his manly physique.
All he has to do is bat those big, blue eyes, and they swoon!
He's doing great, folks!
He is truly a people person. Everyone falls in love with him at first sight, and he returns their love through those beautiful eyes that first captured me in the NICU so long ago.
It's strange, but I can look into those eyes and see that same little baby who was struggling for every breath, and I can see the strength and determination behind that gaze.
It seems so inadequate to say, "Thank you, God", for hearing our prayers, but that's all He's ever wanted.
To our Lord goes the Glory now and forever more.
(I know, Nana. I chopped off the top of his head in the first pictures!! So fire me!! LOL!)
I LOVE you, Logan!!!!
Big mistake there, Cowboy. BIG mistake. She's gonna git you.
Thank You God
Yippee! God is so wonderful.
I thought about Logan on Wednesday, as I did my 3 boys, and thought how wonderful it was that President Bush was reelected and our children would continue to have a wonderful President to look up to and steer our country on the best path.
God is so wonderful.
What happened to his right eye? Did Superman take a tumble?
I know..........especially when she told me before I took those first three pictures:
"NOW DON'T CHOP THE TOP HIS HEAD OFF LIKE YOU USUALLY DO!!"
(hehe)
You're dead meat.
No, the "expert" with Paint Shop Pro had a brain tumble!
I removed the red-eye, and I didn't notice the problem until after I posted the pic.
