If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

.I bring you Logan!!!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole! Journey to the Cross-roads The Two Towers Edition Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!) Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts,...

I HAVE AN APOLOGY TO MAKE TO EVERYONE! I've been working on a collage to post that would take us all the way through our boy's life with thumbnail pictures, but I can't do it!
I had 532 pictures in the collage, and I can't make myself take any of them out!
Everyone please feel free to link to your favorite pictures.
I'll admit that I have too many favorites.
Thank you, BG and M0sby, for celebrating the 10,000th post with your favorites.
TO ALL:
There is no way I can express my appreciation for your support of this thread.
You made it happen!
Through your love and your prayers to the Almighty God who gave us this little boy to cherish, we have been witness to a miracle.
I know the angels rejoiced in heaven to see so many on their knees in praise of the power and grace of our Lord in recognition of the gift He bestowed upon us.
Logan has climbed many mountains in the last year, and you were all right there beside him with your love and prayers.
THANK YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
To: TexasCowboy
532? That's a lot of pictures. But looking at LOGAN would've been just fine with
The Logan Fan Club! :-)
Thanks, TC, for using YOUR server for all of these prize-winnin' pics of Logan! And thanks SO much for all of YOUR prayers this year.

First and foremost.. thank you!
Beth, Bud & I could have never made this journey without all of our wonderful Freeper Friends who have become Logan's extended family.
All of you have cared so deeply for this child. You've made him a part of your life, and welcomed him with open arms. You've prayed for him, cried, laughed and rejoiced with us. And all the while, this tiny little boy jumped the hurdles and just kept on surprising all of us.
We have received many gifts from some of you. For them, I personally want to tell you that they are very special to us and will be to Logan when he's old enough to understand.
But the greatest gift of all has been your love. Brad's Gramma and Texas Cowboy (Aunti N and Uncle TC) are responsible for most of this. And who could not thank Uncle Jim (Jim Robinson) for allowing this thread to go on.
Beth and Bud shared this child with the world, for all to see God's miracle in progress. And me.... I've been on the ride of my life with our little one. I never knew ultimate fear as when we thought we would loose him, greater faith than when I prayed to God for that miracle of continued life, and ultimate, unconditional love as I have for Logan.
All of these posts are testaments to a group of caring, fun loving people who came together for one cause. A little infant that few gave hope for.
Logan has quite a legend to live up to. He will be taught to be kind and gentle, yet strong. And he will be taught the power of prayer and to give thanks to our Heavenly Father and his friends who cared so deeply. And he will be taught to be patriotic and respect the wonderful freedom that so many have fought for and some, even given their life for.
God bless you all......
